How do u know your steam ID?

I bet I sound like a n00b here but how do u know what your steam ID is and how do u find spawnpoint servers?

You can find the IP by clicking more details, copy and paste into your favourites list.

To find out your SteamID, join a server and type status in console.

Hey ipwn,

To find your steam id join a server go to console and type status in console and you should find your name ingame and it should be like this steam_0:1234567890 and to find the spawnpoint server list i would go to spawnpoint community and it has the server list.

How do u say something in console?

[Construct]

Well, first, try pressing tilde ( ~ ), while in game. If that does not yield anything, goto Options: Keyboard: Advanced Options: Enable Developers console. Check this then retry. Once you get it, a long black list of text should appear. Type "status" (Withouts the quotes) into the console and find your name in the list of players.

The numbers after Steam: xxxxxxx should be your ID.

u double-click on the tray icon of steam:


then u right click on Counter-strike: Source, and click on properties:


after that:

you click on launch options and write in there "-console" WITHOUT " "


finished now u got the css console!!
