How old is too old ?

Ok here's one for you.

I have been gaming now for around 25 years now, starting from the good old days of the Atari 2600 and Intellivision, moving onto the Spectrum series of computers, Commodore 64 etc etc to name a few.

It has to be said, I game more than my kids, and with much annoyance to the wife, my 7 year old loves CS:S as much as me. But I find that on a lot of servers, and particularly the SP London GG server, I am a lot older than most of the players on there. Having said that I do know one guy on there in his late fifties...but I feel like a minority sometimes, just wondering how many oldies are out there like me lol.

By the way im 38 and feel older everyday lol

There are a wide range of ages that play our servers, I think the oldest being nearly 70. There's a survey in this thread that will give you an idea of the age breakdown of those on these forums:

There is no such thing as to old to game, why should you stop doing something you enjoy just because you hit a certain age?

but i've know quite a few adult gamers....i wish my dad was into cs:s.....then he would understand why i love to play it......but there is wuite a few people your age in this community.

AncientAdmin, though he has meen away for a few months, still plays CS:S. Correct me if I am wrong but I think he is in his 70's.

There is never a 'too old' in this world, as long as you have some good workin' digits.

I don't think you can ever be too old to play games. I mean, before video games were made people played board games at all ages, right? same basic concept there

I mean yes they got complicated over time.
