silver trigger

im in the process of making a silver trigger for my paintball gun. :P yes a solid sterling silver trigger. i got bored so i thought id make a silver trigger.

its a spyder pilot (soon to be mini or slg). and i had the sterling so thats what im using (sry its not 999 pure lol). well anyone can make one the way i am, you must have the know how and resources. first i make a mold of the trigger(with all bumb stops were i want them),2nd i make a wax trigger,3rd i put the wax trigger into a flask and fill with investment,4th flask gets heated to 1600 F then its put into a casting machine,5th sand-file-buff-polish and BAM! silver trigger. im still working on the pics hopefully il have them up in a week or 2.

This process sounds very similar to how dental crowns are made. Pretty time-consuming process - fun little project. Lookin forward to the pics.

very similar to dental crowns. it should take about 3-4 hours of work on my end. but it will take about a week or 2 for the casting to take place.

Ew, get yourself an Ion, their so sexy and for $200 bucks you can get 17 BPS, not including the Blackheart Board *Totally required* for 25 BPS ^^

ion? the mini is so much better than the ion. plus smart parts just came out with the ion xe.(bolt-out-back) its around 250 like the slg. the mini is 400.

Well I don't know anything about the xe., but Ion is like Tippman, its as good as you want it to be with the bajillion customizations available. Also, like 12 sexy color kits ^^

I've always wanted to try paintballing. How much would you say it would cost to get yourself started?

if you are just starting i say you should find any and all fields by you. then go to one and get a rental gun and play. if you like it go buy a gun. go to a store or go to actionvillage.com oh and how much money are you willing to spend? because i could tell you to get a smart parts shocker nxt but its $600.
and construct as far as i know the ion xe is just an upgraded ion with the bolt-out-back makes it so much easier to clean.
