Member of the month...

This would be a cool feature to integrate into the site, so i thought I'd start it here...and maybe it could expand!

I choose savage, and for a good reason too.

Not many people have gone through what he went through just two or three weeks ago. Loosing your daughter (or son) is something that no parent should ever have to deal with. But, savage sadly went through that, in doing so, he showed incredible amounts of determination and courage. Savage is also fun to play with, mostly there when you need a kick or ban. And he is high spirited even in times like these. Good job savage, god bless you.

Maybe...I think what he means is to pick one person out of all of the people at SP. Like a regular on the forums or someone that has shown excellent behavior and composure and so on.

Nice idea, but how about Member of the week? Person changes more often.. Member of the month is nice too..

there are no bad ideas in this forum so far, everyone has some trait that will make them member of the (whatever)...This should be expanded into not only the admins, but the general audience (for lack of a better word). Everyone should be a canidate for this.

Yeah I totaly agree aswell. I think that it should be for everyone and also that people have the right to vote for the person they want.
In addition medals or awards should be given weekly or monthly for members with good commitment, attitude, submissions, service to spawnpoint and all round friendlyness.

I actually have to disagree with the idea. It's nice to show recongnition to people who contribute positive thing, yes.
However, I feel that putting someone up in the spotlight may be creating a sort of "favoritism fad" and isn't really fair to everybody. I just feel that people should be reconized for their actions, in a fashion that doesn't exclude everybody else who's worked hard or done good things. More like a cumulative thing maybe? Like, kinda have an update on different people's good works monthly, rather than singling one person.
