Ak-47/m4

Very similar to geewhiz's thread actually, but anyway...

I was wondering which gun people generally prefer since they are both pretty much equal. I myself go through phases where I prefer an AK-47, and then other times I prefer an M4.

I prefer the M4A1 since it's a little mpore accuarate and a great weapon.

Uh...Ak for its brute power. If you can even get behind your enemy you can kill him in 1 shot to the head. I also like it a little bit more than the M4 because of its ability to spray. Even though I get running headshots with the M4.

I like the CV47 (cs:s's version of the ak47) better for long shots.

BTW the ak47 was updated to the cv 47, due to the m16 being updated to the m4a1. They couldn't leave the Ts with a weaker and out-of-date so they replaced the ak47 with the CV-47.

Pretty sure the CV47 isn't an actual weapon, but a way for Valve to use the AK47 (and several other weapons) without breaking any copyright problems. Glock18 is suposedly the glock in CS:S, but the Glock 18 is a full-auto weapon (and you sure won't find one for 400 bucks). Could be wrong here though....google searches for CV47 and CV-47 came up with nothing but an aircraft carrier, a european postcode, and CS:S.

I used to prefer the M4A1 in CS:S due to it's general ease of use, but I got bored with it and experimented with the AK/CV47, and have grown quite fond of it

They are even, the difference in good or bad players is to know when to use it

and to know how to. M4 : Silence +, not too much recoil +, can't kill in 1 shot

if the ennemy has 100 HP - : = best for sneaky assault undercovered.

AK : Huge power , can kill in 1 hit +, recoil if you don't

know how to use it -, makes huge noises - : = Good for killing peoples if you

can handle it.

AWP ? lol but from those 2 ak much better in CS:S but in 1.6 you cant spray with it as much so its more of a challenge but ak rocks.

I've always sworn by the M4, but lately I've come to love the AK. I've been practicing with it a lot more, so I'm doing a bit better with it than I used to.

Not to mention the fact that lately, I've hit a lot of people in the head with the M4... once... then killed with a HS by the AK before my second bullet of the 2-shot burst gets out. Apparently microseconds count for a lot. lol

Ya, I couldn't agree more. Some days one works better than the other, and thats just the way it is.

Im leaning more for the ak right now, i just got out of a round and did really well with it. Funny thing is i almost never use it and i just did GREAT with it.

I don't really like either one but if I had to choose it would be the M4. easier to control and I have a great skin for it

ok true but theres 1 thing, if ur behind the enemy y use a gun?
