if you use FireFox web browser you can get the ChatZilla plugin for it and use that for IRC...free and no nag screens

Kingwade, once you downloaded mirc, install it into the directory of your choice, you shouldn't have any problem doing so. After just hit the .exe to start it up.

Now you'll have a main window showing up, you can only type at the botom, the main screen is used to show the chat messages.
down on the text bar type /server Gigenet.IL.US.GameSurge.net
it will probable take a couple seconds till you connect.
after that you just type /join #spawnpoint
and bam you're inside the room with all your favorite spawnpoint member
