SpawnPoint - Where Game Begins

Time to update the list of who has got the most cheats banned from SpawnPoint servers again.

The list may be more inaccurate than before, as the new demo submission on the website makes keeping track of who got who banned more complicated.

This list only takes into account demos submitted since December, as before this there was no way to record who submitted the demo on the list.

It does not include bans for racism, being idiots, explicit names etc.

This list was compiled on the 10th of August 2007 and includes only demo submissions that have been responded to.

Just because you got a response saying the player you submitted a demo of has been found to be cheating, it does not mean that it will count towards this list. An example would be a player called SteamCafe>VAC, three people sent in demos of him, but Mr_Me_II beat everyone to it and put him on the list first, so he got the credit for that one. The credit will go to the player who sends in the demo first.

Some of the anti-cheat teams numbers may be a little off, it depends how they fill in the ban list entry as to whether they have been counted.

I've tried to use everyones forum name where possible, but a lot of the emails come in with real names, fake names or no names at all. If you spot one that is yours and you'd like me to use your forum name in any future lists like this then PM me.

I fell special! Top 7 overall and top 5 the past two months

Nice job everyone who sent in demos, keep up the good work. 401 less cheaters in the community after only a month. I'll have to do a little more specing next month only 17 this time. I gotten beaten to the punch several times by other people on demo submissions. I hope to see some new names on this list next month, help keep the Spawnpoint community clean. :)

Yeah he is no longer with us. But he still plays. He hasn't really told us why he left, but it's alright, as it's a pretty big decision to make, and he's already made up his mind, so I only wish him well and good luck.

Just that seeing him w/ the tag up there in Phil's post brought a tear to my eye, that's all :(

1. You only get credit if you are the first person to submit a demo that gets a cheat banned. Only once did I give two people the credit for getting the same cheat banned, because they sent it in at exactly the same time and I wasn't giving people halfs.

2. The number of demos varies depending on quite a few things, but it's usually between 15-20.

3. We do sometimes get a day or two behind, lots of demos and real life getting in the way are the usual reasons. We try to reply within 48 hours and we are doing at the moment. Please note that sometimes one demo might take longer, sometimes a few weeks, if the person reviewing it feels a second opinion is needed.
