And any machine connected to the Internet needs a firewall and antivirus, doesn't matter what you're using it for. [link=http://www.avast.com/]Avast![/link] and [link=http://www.grisoft.com]AGV[/link] are both free anti virus tools (I run Avast on my laptop) and [link=http://www.zonelabs.com]Zone Alarm[/link] is probably the best free firewall you can get (I have it on my laptop and my tower).

I don't like change. If it's spywafre so be it, ill go kill it. I was just hoping it wasnt spawnpoint.com was not starting to give popups or somthing.
If I had all these protection programs I would never learn anything would I? I've downloaded viruses on purpose before, just for somthing to do. IE gives me so much shit, I just learn how to fix comps more and more with it every day.

I learned a lot from IE...like not to use IE
and if you had all those protection programs you'd learn what it's like to have your computer run a lot better from not having spyware and adware lurking in the background sucking up resources

Those AV's suck , Kasper Sky Antivirus is the best.
I have it on my server, PM me if you want it.

I've never had any problem with either of them, and I find that Avast! updates both its definitions and its engine more frequently than McAfee or Norton do.

now dont think bad of for this, but McAffe, combined with stopzilla, works graet for me!

when i used to just McAfee i would get a bug once ina while, but now i also have stopzilla, and i havnt gotten a single bug in a few months.
