This may sound crazy, but Microsoft actually makes a decent anti spyware program. As alt puts it, no one knows their software better than them - so why not trust them to know how to rid yourself of the spyware?
On a side note, I've never had virus protection on my computer and I've never had a virus. I'm just smart enough to know what kind of sites to avoid (since I rarely go to sites I don't know) and when not to open certain emails. I do use housecall from time to time just to make sure everything is still good. |
