Well i know that i have no authority to spawnpoint other then my admin on one server, but i still i have to say.

ok in the past 4-5 days i have seen about 6 people leave the server claiming "admin abuse!!" or " I dont wanna play on a server where admisn are so arrogent!"

im seeing admins switch people to CT JUST so they can play on T, weather its making the teams fair or not. Im seeing admins who have such arrogence and are so up tight that they freak out in big green letters when people say "pwnt in that face". one of the admins iv seen do this is even a "BOOM HEADSHOT!!!!!!" person.

i changed my name to something else and went into the server, and everytime i killed someone i said "pwnt" like most noobs do. when i kept killing a certain admin and saying it, he had so little tollerance about it. " shut up you only killed." was what he said. then when there was an open spot on T i swithced over to his team to play a little. we played a few rounds in peace, until he switched over to CT saying thati was just tired of him "pwning" me.

so a few rounds later whne he had dies about 4 times in a row, he once again went overboard and swithced me back to CT and moved himself to T. when i said " WHYD YOU DO THAT?!?!" he replied, " you took my spot when u switched to T and anyways you were being an asshole."


i have seen alot of this plus more kinds of admin abuse and ignorence. a big problem on the server im talking about (cs_assauly 24/7) is admins and people abusing kids age 11- 14. I even saw an admin who is 15 years old abusing a kid who was 14 because he was being "childish".

i just want to say, that some of the kids who are regulars on the server would make better admins then the older people. im sick and tired of everytime a kid talkes on his mic to hear this is voice chat " shut the F*** up little b**** i f****** ur mom lats night in the va*****, she was f******* good in bed!!!"

im sick of people not respecting kids on the server, and if thats how everyone here classifies kids here then i think some thingmajor has to be done about it.

now im now saying all admins are like this,i know alot of GREAT admins

again i know i have no authority over anyone here, but i do care about the spawnpoint community and servers, and i do want them to prosper, and survive. but if admining like this keeps up then we wont last for much longer.

We appreciate your support of Spawnpoint, and recognize your concerns of admin abuse and/or inadequate admins. I believe there is something in the works to aid in reporting the quality of admins, but I am uncertain when this will be up and fully operational. For the time being email abuse@spawnpoint.com with the names and steam ids of any admins that you feel need to be observed for inapropriate behavior. Also provide the server ip that said admins are associated with so that they can be observed in action. Any evidence that you have collected should be put into a zip file and provided via email or a hosting service.

I havent met any bad admins yet, but Ive only seen about 4 I think and arent on a lot. There are however a lot of immature kids with inapropriate sprays or getting into pointless arguments where insults about sexuality, race and what other peoples mums do is hotly debated. It happens in all servers though, what can you do.

I'm glad I wasn't there at the time. Switching people so I can join the team I want is not something I do. I'm not sure who that would of been but if your reading this then read well. However, I will point my self out as the "Boom Headhot!!" guy, and say this. Everybody is different eh? Some people like to play the game and keep quiet, others like to talk a lot. I am one of the latter, so what I say boom headshot, lots of people do this. My fun should be cut beacuse I',m admin? I agree the noob down thing may have been a little over the top, and now that is reserved for a special group of individuals.

Also, I can say that on numerous times I have written in green to enlighten the person who killed me that shooting me while im taking fire from 3 different directions is not ownage. Is that so different to what we discussed in one of the other threads about trying to teach people how to rush the building succesfully? It's just a different lesson... I am the one whos moaning in between rounds if I did actually get owned and am the first to also type in green to tell the guy "nice shot". Getting killed is part of the game, it's inevitable, however crying "owned" everytime you get any kind of kill is a little extreme, and completely out of context of the word. All I try to do is teach people the difference.Getting owned is all about using your head and tricking/outsmarting the opponent who is trying to outsmart you. As an example, the last t holding the building against 4 attackers, or vice versa, the last 4 t's rushing the last ct and the single player winning the round.

The whole kids thing on the server is something which has come to light over the past few weeks to me, not with admin (i have never seen this) but with the players. A young boy talks and numerous folks comment on them sounding like a 9yr old girlsomething. This is not something which I like too much (like the n word) however it's hardlya kickable offense. I on many times ask the peeps both in voice and ma_say to play nice, but I can't be alive and dead on both teams at the same time.

And with regards to the age of admins windy, admittedly there seem to be some young admins on our server, but we don't make that call. Adminning has nothing to do with age really anyway but with maturity. The maturity to continously warn people first about things no matter how many times a day you have to ask people not togo on glitch etc...

On this matter, can we have some kind of message like the "vent frowning" onewarning people not toglitch at all. Obviously it must still come with a warning before slaying, as some people just never see the text or messages

yeah i agree with you on the message about stuff that.

also dont take me wrong joker i wasnt talking about SAYING the "ownd" and " boom headshot". fo rme i have no problem with that as long as they dont spam it. i was talking about how some admins will freak out in green text when it happens. andwheni say freak out, i mena like "shut up you only killed me. dont be so childish, only a noob would do that!!"

and when i said "and some of thsoe people are even boom headhsot people" i wasnt saying that it was bad to do chat kill binds, i was saying that it wasnt right to tell people not to use them if they were gonna use them themselves.

if i see anything else i will send the email with steam Ids, evidence, and such.

and about the kids thing, im not saying that all kids are well behaved, but myself, being under 16 years old feel that the way some kids are treated is perverted and wrong.

wheni told people in the server i was only 14 they freaked out. but what i have to say to you guys, is that if i hadnt said that i was only a kid, would you have known?

the people on the server started to show me more respect when i asked that question, becuase i dont act like a little kid, im not immature, and i dont apreciate being treated like a little kid either. im sure the others dont either

i never treat you like that though, IMO you are one of the more responsible of the young admins we have on the server, and wish the others would notice the example... [8D]

I have had admin for the 24/7 Assault Server but just started to play on it and visit the server recently. I have to comment that certain admins and players are a bit more . . . "vicious". Seen admins tell players to "shut up". That is something I would never do as I see the players on the server as customers and admins as facilitators on the server. Everyone on the server is there to have fun and not be abused by anyone including admins. Certainly there is the sportsmanship issue and being able to pwn someone.. . that's why players play the game. I fully understand that concept. There are good admins on the server and I've "conversed" with them using ma_chat and enjoyed playing with them. There are other adminsthat continue to use the green admin text to make general comments and tease players. It all boils down to discipline and maturity of the individual. The green admin text looses it's effect and attention when it is abused.
Again, this is my personal opinion and observations from spectating and playing the server. I rarely use the admin function on the server because I leave functions to the more regular adminson the server. It is a very popular server! My two cents worth.

I played on that server anonymously and didn't see any abuse other than verbal. Some people just play like that though. I don't agree with using ma_say or csay to talk trash but its not the server I manage. It didn't seem to scare players away. If the complaints keep coming in, I would calm it down a little.....just a suggestion of course....take it as you want.
