If you see someone asking for your account info, remove them from your friends list.

Someone today asked for my info, he may do something like this:

Yeh thanks for the heads up on that one.

As it is I would never under any circumstances reply to them I would give a big F***C***UK U! to the message and then, remove from friends list. Also where possible I would send a report to Steam with the Steam ID and name and possibly if they are on a server im playing I would also send an IP.

I hate people who try this one, they are mainly people sad enough to write a convincing message, no life, no brain, and no real sense of morals. The same applies to people who send emails claiming to be your bank. Ive had quite a few of those saying please can you email us your Bank details as we appear to have lost them or need them to verify something. etc etc.
I got one once that said (short version) Please can you send us your card no, sort no, PIN (Yeah Right you complete...... like anyone would ask for that anyway!), house address, phone number etc etc.

Bassically they wanted your life!
And what was funny about it was that the bank that *Suposidly* sent the email was HSBC. Well I dont have an account with HSBC, and even if I did they never ask for personnal details, and if they ever need you to confirm anything they ask for you to come into your local branch. Another thing that really annoys me is the emails saying 'Congratulations, You have won the lottery'. Like yeh right.

I mean Sheesh! HELLO HOW STUPID!

So yeah, ANY! email, letter, message, phonecall etc that you recieve asking for ANY! personal details, and you dont know the company, person etc or you know them to be fake. NEVER NEVER NEVER either reply or give them any details whatsoever!.
