More Problems

If I haven't had enough problems already, a new disturbance arises with people thinking they just "get in" to {CA}.

Me and Gulity Spark have been seeing numerous people who are not in our clan and just slapping tags on plus they recruit more unwanted pests.

I urge any SP user to ban any user that is not a part of our communtiy.

I believe there might be more but if me or gulity or another actual CA meber says to an admin "that person isnt in CA", please ban them immediately. I do not want any more posers.

You forgot yourself in that list.

As far as I know, admins are not allowed to ban users for wearing a clan's tag (except clans such as PHXX and myg0t). We CAN, however, ban for defiance if they don't take the tag off when we tell them to and start swearing (I think...or maybe I've been doing too much for my clan server rules [&:]).

If we're allowed to ban people for wearing a tag that is not theirs, I'll make sure I do. I'll pm you through steam to make sure .

The only bannable tag is PHXX. We will not ban the "posers" you are having problems with. All admins are not to ban people in these kinds of disputes. We don't even want you ban PHXX posers. Get a demo and report them immediately though please. If the person is breaking Spawnpoint rules, get a demo, send it inand we will deal with them. This kind of thing happens with "new" clans sometimes with some people recruiting or pretending to be a member. Start a website with your members on it and only let one or two people recruit. Then you can say if you weren't recruited by <insert name here>, then it isn't valid. If they don't believe you at that point, direct them to your clan page to look. Another thing you can do is request sponsership of a server from spawnpoint for your clan. Putting a spawnpoint.com banner on your webpage is a requirement of clan sponsership and will keep you from getting into trouble for promoting your website on our servers. As your clan gets older, it will geteasier in this area. If the server has your clan name in it, you will then have more options. How to do this is in our FAQ.

Well put! If someone is stupid enough to slap a tag on they are stupid enough to allow themselves to be demo'd. I agree with you XTR3M3. It only takes a little patience which we all have little of these days. The biggest issue I have seen on the servers are the immature kids who pull stuff like this because they want some attention or are simply bored.

I remember we used to have PWND imposters all the time in the 108.4, but eventually people started to get to know all the pwnd members and who was who so nowadays a person can't go in with a PWND tag and convince people they are actually PWND. Also, usually is a person is name stealing or name hacking then that is a bannable offense no? Anyways, yea the problem will eventually weed itself out.

Many imposters have been found out and been annouced.

People who were trying to "sneak" in are stopping slowly.


Things are actually calming down.

Also, wth extreme I DO have a website just no one ever visits it cause they are genrally lazy like I usually dont visit SP forums because of the mass amount of users here

while we won't ban them for wearing a tag they shouldn't (unless it's [PHXX]) what we will ban them for is the kind of behavior that we would ban anyone for...and from my experience (and we're talking all the way back to the 1.5 days when Hitman first recruited me) the people who insist on doing things like wearing someone's tag just to piss them off are the same kind of people who manage to get themselves kicked/banned for going out of thier way to piss of everyone else on the server too.

UPDATE: There is another clan called "Covert Assassins" with the same tag. Ask them what there clan stand for to hope that we dont confuse them.
