How do I ban someone that's not in the server? This kid wanted to join my clan ".:{SvS}:.", I asked how old and if he had a mic. He said 13 and had a mic. I said sorry your to young, maybe you can get in with my other clan. After I left he put my tag up, telling everyone he's the owner, he made svs, then after I came in he left. Now he wont come in unless we're gone. I have his name tag and steam id. Any help?

Log out of steam friends, change your name then enter the server. Unless he's really paranoid and has memorised your steam id he won't know it's you.

Your regular admin can't ban anyone if they are not on the server (in CS:S anyway), the only way to do this is get them added to the global ban list.

I tried that too, unless he really left. He has it coming, every admin I know, everyone on my steam friend list is watching out for him. HEHE, thanks.Ps. I found a way to fix the "unknown" friend listSTUFF from happening. CHEA

Using [PHXX] is a bannable offence(for obvious reasons). Banning someone for using any other tag is not

I don't have admin for any spawnpoint server, it's for my server, well on my server. I wouldn't ban someone for doing that. LMAO

LOL well in that case there are better ways to deal with someone who is bugging you on your own server.

I find the "blind/drugged/gimp" effect works wonders closely followed by the "Teleport of Doom" EVERY ROUND until he complies with your wishes

It seems to work very well when i do it

I would do that, but he wont come in there if any of my admins are on. Someone how he manages find out who is admin and what not. No, there isn't a list. I like to use "llama" on people. But either way he's not bothering me, he's trying to pose as my clan and saying he is the leader, he made my clan.

He probably wrote all of you guys' steam IDs down so he can cross reference it when you guys join.

If its your server, you should have the RCON password.

Download HLSW and set it up for your server with rcon, you will be able to excecute rcon commands as well as normal admin commands remotly, without connecting to the server.

Its very simple, get his steamid.


go to the cstrike/cfg/mani_admin_plugin/ folder in your server. Open banned_user.cfg and add the steam id there...he will then be permanently banned from that server after the next map change.

We didn't know it was his server. Generally, regular admins of spawnpoint server don't have access to these files.


You know whats really great though murder?
We (as a clan) don't have to pay for our servers.
