Admin Rights

IF you have admin on some of the servers we run, you will notice the rights have been cut back a bit.
Management has decided to reduce the admin abilities of all admins to a minimum requirement.

There will be a handful of PHXX staff that has all the admin rights.

does that apply for people that are requesting server, as PHXX/Spawnpoint as a sponsor???

From what Starlog said, I would venture to guess this applies to all servers that they have managed to implement this new mandate/constraint on thus far. Most of the Spawnpoint servers will probably have similar actions taken upon them in due time. I wouldn't take offense or get upset with this. It is probably just a neccessary step needed to be taken in order to cut down on the admin abuse that has been reported lately. I'm am sure all admins still have the major and neccessary commands to keep the game play fun for all.

well what commands do u need other then kick, ban, and some of the "fun" commands like slap and teleport.

There will be ONE server team leader that has the majority of commands for each server.
This usually is the one that originally started the request for a server. That person is the focal point
for PHXX requests, so if other admins request changes, they really need to go thru the known leader of their clan or
server manager. You know who you are ..lol

as tom has implied you should not throw your name out on the server if you are the server leader onto this board

Things like this should have a weekly email update/meeting just to get a update on what has happened through the server to the server leader thus if any admin uses the wrong cmd or any admin has seen any abuse instantces the leader can be notified and something can be done
