THis is what I used to do to get videos on Youtube.
1) First get Fraps. If you use uTorrent you can get it for free from mininova.org or you can probably find some other site that lets you download it for free. It's the best "free" video capturing program that is specifically designed for recording videos during gameplay. 2) Next get a demo of whatever you want in CSS using the record "demoname" command in console. 3) Then, play the demo in CSS by going into console and typing in playdemo "demoname" 4) While it's playing in the game, use Fraps to record the demo while it's playing in CSS. Fraps can get really laggy so make sure you have it set to the right Frames Per Second (FPS). I believe the best FPS to use is 20 FPS but I'm not sure since I haven't used it in a while. If someone can please post the best FPS to use while playing Counter Strike Source, that would be great. Anyways, play around a bit until it stops lagging. The reason I say to use Fraps and record the demo instead of recording directly during gameplay is because no matter what FPS Fraps is set to, the game goes really laggy. It's much easier to record what you want by first recording a demo of it in CSS, then rerecording it using Fraps. 5) Use Windows Movie Maker so that you can convert and edit the video you recorded USING FRAPS, into something that can be uploaded in Youtube. 6) Upload it onto Youtube. That's how I did it. Hope this helps! ![]()
