It's a Cal Map rotation and we have some trouble keeping the population up. So feel free to stop by and play.

I often go in and play with the bots for maybe 20 minutes and then one person joins...a few minutes later another joins....then another...and another

So stop by and be "another" person [8D]

Well just to warn you guys, I have noticed many times that your server is completely empty while 3 or more of your clan members are playing on the 174.5 server. I'm probaly not the only person to take note of this.

I've taken note of this aswell. It seems like only a few of us play in there without me having to remind them. If you could be so kind as to give me names of them someone, I would like that very much. Thank you.

I even asked yesterday in admin speak if they shouldn't be on "their" server as 4 or5 of them were on 174.5 at the time

It appears as though some of your clan don't realise how much work it is to populate a server and that sacrifices (like not playing on OTHER servers for a while) need to be made.

Yes. I'm trying to stress this.

I think it would help populate the server if the voting thing worked lol.

Like votekick, voteban, RTV, ect. I'm admin and I can't even cast a vote. It says "Voting not allowed at this time".

Any ideas?

Btw, It's not possible for me to get RCON is it? It would help to be able to add some elite bots if we need them for some reason. Or give money and turn FF on/off.

If not, That's cool.

I'm cracking down hard on populating the server. Please trust me when I say it won't happen in the 6 days we've had it. Each day I feel we get more and more populated. Roughly 100 people were ranked yesterday. Now we're 330+ at 4pm est today.

Our server must have restarted or something cuz DWP is now on.


(Voting isn't fixed either if that's why it was restarted).

Hum i was there too, and when i asked one of the members (wont tell who, as im not trying to incriminate anyone) if i could get their servers ip (remember i was under another name, and so was raven), one of the members replied 'no lol' and then continued to ignore me until he left the server, many many many rounds later. the second one, give me an ip, which when i tried, didnt work :S

After both of the players left, i disconnected and looked for it in the servers list and then proceeded to add it to my favourites. I was rather surprise by their response.

As for votes such as votekick and voteban, i suggest you leave those nonfunctional, as it could be abused by any or every player on the server at the time.

Rcon access, to the extent of my knowledge is something ONLY uberadmins and staff have access to.

Give Money was taken away from all admins as its unnecessarely and doesnt help promote the 'development of abilites' as they dont have to kill and play good to earn their money.

As for ff on/off, for that i think you need Rcon access.

Well even tho that is good, a server...like a website, doesnt stay populated from 'newvisits' but regulars, so a server could be much more populated with only 28 regulars that come in every day and ONLY play on that server, than 25000 that only come in once and leave because they dont like the environment of the server.


Again im trying to help you guys out, and not denonce you.

DWP will get turned off next time the map changes. This happens on all servers if they get restarted.

For the friendlyfire, I think that if the Clan Leader (or whoever is in charge) has a higher admin level (Uber Clan Admin), then they have access to friendlyfire through votes ONLY. If they have the same admin level as everyone else (Clan Admin) then a Senior Admin will have to help you out.

I believe that is our old server, and so far it looks as though you are doing better than we were LOL. Good luck with the whole thing.

If you have any clan-sponsered server questions, just ask me and I can probably help. My clan has one as well and is doing awesome so I can offer advice on how to get it there.

As for the voting, it worked for one map and it must have reset or something. I even put cl_restrict_server_commands 0 and told everyone else to for like 30 minutes straight. It only worked for one map (about 15 minutes) until it changed. Any other ideas?

That's not something you can fix, I don't think. Contact staff@spawnpoint.com and see what they have to say...unless of course one of them has something to say on these forums. Phil, any idea?

Ok guys. I think weve gotten the point across to our members because they were in that server for all day yesterday. Its bout 8:00 right now so i dunno.
