Default HL2 chain reaction video

this is just plain wrong. someone had way too much free time on thier hands when they thought up and created this. it's a video made using the HL2 physics engine to create a massive chain of events. It's all making fun of a certain inventor...I forget his name...but...
He made a very popular comic strip, and in each he had a different invention, somthing super complicated that ended up only accomplishing a very simple task, like turning on a lightswitch, or putting toothpaste on a toothbrush. In these strips he was making fun of todays society (like...70 years ago) in how so many new gadgets and inventions were coming out they just complicated life too much in the end (like the Doughnut Dunker and Drop catcher) Don't think he ever built one of his inventions...but the strip had details on how to do it, and they all would work if built right [8D]

The video in the link is an example of that, lots of shit happens, and in the end it just kills 1 zombie. Duno about the car commercial, though that was an awsome commercial

You have to love the abilities of both the Hl2 engine, and Garry's mod.

( Not to mention, on Garry's mod, I created a huge artillery cannon )

anyone played that game they are talking about? ''The incredible machine''
I think that's the first computer game I played ever, you had a bunch of item like ramps and bowling balls and you had to start a toaster or something, can't remember a lot but it was a fun game.

I thought that was the most boring video ever.... Granted I have HL and HL2 and I've never played either one. I just remember way back in the day starting up HL and someone being like OMG STOP IT STOP IT and freaking out only to find out that it was just a really really long train ride the person didn't want to sit through. LOL. I don't like that boom headshot video either though. That guy just seems dumber than a bag of bricks.

Half-life 1 was a masterpeice, when it first came out I remember, I don't even think I had a computer back then but when I saw it on tv, damn I will always remember the first time I saw that crowbar.. it was.... magical lol. seriously I knew I would love that game and as soon as I got a computer that's the first game I played. Didnt know about cs yet, I played unreal tournament first for a year or something, then a buddy of mine made me switch to cs. Now because of him I have a poor social life and I gotta deal with noobs and angry kids..

lol...yah, think I got a little more than half way through the original HL on a friend's comp before I got my own 1st computer...a dell T500. That thing was a monster...Windows 98, a P3 500MHz CPU, 20 Gig hard drive, 128 Megs of RAM, a SoundBlaster64, and a VooDoo3 video card with 16 Megs of RAM. Think I had upgraded to 256 Megs of RAM by the time I discovered CS, which was still just a free mod you downloaded and not available to buy seperately. Good by social life. Good by real world. Hello headshot!
