Anyone played this game yet????

I started playing it few days ago and now that I know the game setup and the characters and how to go along and play the game I'm getting addicted anyone else find this game as one of the best games this year? or does it get boring and repetitive when you spend more time on it.
So far the story line is nice and the characteres and movies and game options looks and plays amazing.

I LOVED this game!

The story line was amazing, and the free roam never got boring. That and the overall look and feel of the game was excellent. Possibly one of the best games this year.

It WAS the best game of the year. I believe IGN named it game of the year on the 360 for its amazing graphics, epic and intriguing story line and for the vast expanse of its game world.

Anyways, I would recommend this game to anyone who has the machine to run it or a 360. I have it, but I have not gotten into it very far and already I am just wondering around in aw at the scenery.

What platform is it on? I've never heard of it, but if its not for the PC i wont of done, and even then i have my head stuck so far up counterstrike all the time i dont really know much about whats out and about unless steam rams it down my neck before i open the "server" tab. Sounds good though.

DO yourself a favor, DONT buy it for PC. Its the buggiest game ever. Theres a random bug that causes some setups to lockup at random intervals. You either have to reboot or wait ages. Then theres the perma overheat bug, where your weapon wont cool down from overheating (Annoying in the final battle with Spider Saren and his insta overheat, my last shot was with a pistol, its all i had left).

Its not a fun gaming experience. I did manage to get a good 5 hour session once tho.

It works great on my pc. I never have any problems with it. I haveto wonder if people that have problems with it don't have enough machine to run it right.
I loved that game...of course I am a big bioware fan. I loved the knights of the old republic games. If I had to quickly describe mass effect, it would be "A cross between halo and Knights of the old republic."

Ive got a Dell XPS m1730 with a T9500 2.6ghz C2D proccessor (Easily overclockable to 2.8 with minimal heat penaltys but i put it back down after Bioware reccomended un OCing it for Mass effect), 4 gig of ram, 2 m8800 GTX's in sli and a physX card. If the thing wont run on this....

Id be interested to hear of your config XTR3M3 just to compare notes with a few other people. If you want proof of the scale of the problem look at the BioWare forums under mass effect. Ive tried updating my drivers, rolling them back to older drivers, running it in sli, not in sli, hell ive even tried running it with the integrated intel card used for low power laptop usage. Ive not tried it on XP yet. But yeh, on the game itself I loved it. Heres a little tip tho, if there are side quests to do, i suggest you do them ASAP, particularly on Novaria. often once you complete key points of the main story you cant go back. I thought once id completed the games story I could just wander around in space completing the side quests. Turns out you cant, thats why Im on my second playthrough.

Im a bit of a Bioware fanboy too, and also loved KOTOR.

I have it for PC, it runs on ALL Max with no problems what so ever. No gun bugs, no video glitches, or game play irregularity in any way; nothing. It's a great game so far and I've just started. Made me very addicted to searching every single corner of ever single part of ever single room/building/planet....... I go in/on.....

The voice acting has to be the best thing about it and the story line is intreaging and they both keep you wanting more, it's almost at a point where I'm shooting everyone so I can get back to the talking part, I'm more interested in upgrading my Charm and Intimidation then my weapons and armor.

Anyways great Game I would recommend to anyone that can run it, or XBOX owners, but beware playing mass effect will affect the amount of time you play CSS :O
