Talking AboAly's New Computer.
Some of you already know how bad my last PC was running and that I've been so anxious to get a new one, well the wait is finally over. I just finished installing all the parts in my new Case and installing all my old favorite programs and operating system on my new HD. Although I will still upgrade this on the span of the next few weeks I thought I'd share with you my specs, my numbers and few Photos.

Feel free to cry if you wish you had this beast and if you have a better one post some where else


Specs:

- Evga 680i Chipset Motherboard
- Intel Q6700 Processor
- Corsair 2x2GB 6400 DDR2 Memory
- Evga 8800 GT 512MB Video Card (Another 8800 GT will be installed in SLI real soon)
- Seagate 500 GB SATAII @ 7200RPM Hard Drive
- Western Digital 300 GB SATA @ 7200RPM Hard Drive
- Cooler Master 750 WATT SLI ready Power Supply
- Ultra-Cool Zalman CPU & Case Cooling


At Idle:

- CPU running @ 30 °C
- GPU running @ 55 °C


At Max, with RAM maxed, for 1 Hour:

- CPU running @ 50 °C
- GPU running @ 65 °C


I think it's running very well and I didn't have to run my extra fans yet, maybe when I start overclocking and running at max everything.

Aye, looks similar to mine. I have this big Akasa Evo Blue CPU fan which takes up alot of my case lol. After having 2 CPU chips overheat and die, not taking a risk My case is reaaallly untidy too :P

That computer is soo Hawt. Errr, Temperature wise of course.

May I ask why there are USB ports on the top? I find that really useless as I usually have drinks and stuff on top of my computer.

I gotta say the best feature on this PC is the cool-quite.

And the quick connects (USB, Mic, Headphones, SATA, and Firewire) on top of the case come in handy for fast connections like external HD, Phone, IPod ....
