I loved my that videocard, it was a ATI radeo 9800 XT, I loved it until it suddently burned for an unknown reason.... After that, I bought a Nvidia Geforce 7800 GS OC, no problem with it, good price, etc. Then, seeing that I was loving my Nvidia more than the old ATI, I chose a 8600 GT, which I love but.. I think I should have chosen one of the 8800's card.

i would say make them crossfire compatible with each other they are like intel or AMD, no actual difference, as far as i know

i only say Nvidia becasue most games say Nvidia graphics compatibility before ATi

also, the most powerful cards you hear about are Nvidia, they are a little cheaper than ATi equvilents

I run an 8800 GTS, used to run a 9600GT OC. Had not a worry with either of them, and i will shortly be upgrading to the 9800GX2 via the EVGA step up program.

I can't say that ATi is good or bad, because I never have owned one, but I'm sticking with Nvidia for now.

i really want to get a crossfire optimum compatability working for these two titan grpahics cards, i love them both, just because they are notable, so, like the Windows/MAC war, lets just join them together b4 it gets nasty

I've owned both, enjoy both, but it seems ATI cards produce more heat

well, that can be easily remedied

just some more powerful cooling or divert some pipes (if you have water cooling) nearer to the graphics card

also, from what i have heard, Nvidia are more overclockable, (word), in other words, they are easier to overclock, and they can overclock more over a reliable period of time

I have a ATI card but i heard Nvidia are better.

nvidia cards are better than ati atleast when it comes to speed and better drivers. when i used my ati x300 it sucked because of driver issues with one game upgrade to fix then the problem would be in a different game and upgrade once more and back at square 1 with the first game having same issue.
i have not had any issues with my nvidia geforce 8400 GS 512 mb PCI-E card yet with drivers or anything else

i couldnt agree moredeath nvidia is just too great to be messed wityh and plus it delivers more than ati besides ps3 runs on nvidia and its proven to b amazing not that ati is bad its just when it comes to compitition nvidia takes it

See with nvidia products, they are more comon out on the market. For example, on most games out forthe PC,m it specifies that you need a certain "nvidia" series whether it would be the 8800 or 8600.

NVida is much better. Me and my 6600 gt are friends. yes im that far behind. I didnt like my time with ATI.
