Points ranking system

Hello all !

Can anyone tell me what's the exact countof points in CSS, on which is based the new ranking system ? (when I say new... since the tickrates have been augmented to 66 ;-) ) How many points for a bomb planted or defused, for a kill, for an HS... I tried to find it but there was no corresponding results.
I have played on servers on which it was written how many points you win whenever you make sth giving you points, in the bottom middle of the screen, where informations like "you have the bomb, search for bombsites to plant it..." (I don't know what is exactly said in English) are already displayed. Could it be possible the same informations were displlayed on SP servers too ?

Hope anyone understand my question. If not...well don't care !!

You see, im not positive about the defuse and plant points (probably range of 5-10) but I know how kill points are based. If you kill someone who is worse then you, with a worse rank, then you wont earn as many points for the kill. If you kill someone really good, you will earn more points. With the new ranking system, you lose points too by getting killed. If you get killed by someone really good, then you will lose less points as opposed to getting killed by someone not good at all, in which you will lose more points. And by someone really good and really bad, im talking rankwise, so someone good would be considered a higher rank then you. Someone worse would be considered a lower rank then you. I dont think you really need the point thing in the corner of the screen like, "You got 7 points for killing 'whoever'", unless you want to know the points everyone else is earning, in which you cant just say top, and scroll through the ranks to find everyone elses ammounts of points. If you want to know how many points your earning per kills, then just type session, and it will tell you the points you earn in your current session on the server. For example, if I am +23 points at the start of the round, kill two guys, and survive by the end of the round, type session again and it says I have +37 points this session, it means the two kills last round were worth 14 points. I hope this information helps your many questions.

This explains all. Basically you get more points for killing good players with a bad weapon. Also you lose more points if a new/bad player kills you.

In essence this means that you could go 10 - 4 say and STILL lose points.

So basically, all I have to do now is kill the players that are better than me, right ?? And with usp or glock, if possible... So easy !!!!! lol

I hate stats whore, and I think stats whore hate me since I try my best to help the opposite team winning one or two rounds out of 20. they accuse me of being "unfair" when giving the losing team cash or health... Yes, they dare to use the word "unfair".

mine tends to fluctuate between 120-130 depending on how much admining needs done lol. i dont play too much, and when i do, i suck. hence the crappy rank and the 1.07 KDR most of the time lol.

i was the exact same until i added a modified version of casey's config to mine and have been around 1.4-1.6 since. the game also runs soooo much smoother.

Now people will understand why I try to use the tmp as often as possible when on CT

It's great for silent killing and racking up points.

Also the Galil is a good choice for T's and can be effective at both long range and close spray and pray.
