I got the first part of my Liquid Cooling system finished in my computer, finally. It took about 400 dollars and a total of about 8 hours to do...but it all worked out in the end.
Eventually I plan on having two seperate loops in the computer. Two pumps, two radiators, and a whole lot of waterblocks. Loop 1 will be the CPU, and dual 8800 series cards in SLI. This will go through a Thermochill PA120.3 Radiator using a Swiftech 655 pump with 1/2ID Tubing all around. Loop 2 will be all motherboard parts - NorthBridge, Southbridge, Memory, and Mosfet chips. This will be cooled by the 120.1, since these components do not get quite as hot. Now I know, SB/Memory, and Mosfet really don't need liquid cooling... I'm doing it for the look, and higher overclockability ![]() Enough on that though, the current pictured loop is just CPU and Northbridge. There is a D-Tek FuZion on the CPU, and an EK 680i chipset block on the northbridge. They are being pumped through a Thermochill PA120.1 with a Thermaltake 130mm 'Silent Wheel' fan (which isn't that silent...), the pump is a Swiftech 655. Fan is bein controlled through one of my Zalman Fanmate things that comes with most Zalman heatsinks, I keep it on full speed. Filled with a fillport instead of a res, for now...I don't have enough room in the case for a res. Took about 4 hours to completely bleed the system of air. Temperatures Before 40C Idle/55C Load on CPU stock speeds (2.4GHz) 50C NorthBridge After 22C Idle/25C Load on Stock speeds, 24C Idle 27C Load overclocked to 2.8Ghz, stock voltage Northbridge; 26C Now before you bash me on how terrible the wiring/routing is in these images...keep in mind this is my first attempt, and is also temporary until I get my second pump/second radiator/3rd 4th 5th and 6th waterblocks, and a new case....which... at my current income... will be sometime next summer. ![]() To break in the new system I played Crysis in DX10 on a 50" HDTV most of the day....Yum. Enjoy ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Looks like some of the new stuff we are using for plumbing in the houses I am building these days. Hope you don't spring a leak!......Now go and overclock the crap out of it and show us some benchmarks!
