I'm currently working on a game in flash. I thought I'd post it here so you guys (& girls) can tell me what you think of it so far, baring in mind that I've only just begun.

NOTE: Arrow keys to move, Space to enter portal, A to punch, S to kick, Press different combinations of A and S to get combos. To time it, press the next key after the last attack is just finished.

It's boring 'cause all I've done is about half of the basic game engine. That level is merely there to test it out.

Newest version of game.

New combos:

A+A+A = punch punch headbutt
A+A+S = punch punch roundhouse kick
S+S+S = kick kick roundhouse kick
S+S+A = kick kick headbutt

Press pageup to increase hp and pagedown to decrease hp - this is so you can see how the health HUD works. I particularly like the graphic for low hp - you'll see what I mean when you play it... (His brain is hanging out a bit )

Its good you just need more levels and have the enemy fight back.

yeah it's a good game. keep on working on it and you'll can make it better. although i couldn't get the hp keys to work.

That's strange... Did you press the right buttons? Maybe you clicked outside the game screen?

Yeah, that's something I'll be having to work out later. Won't be easy, that part. As for having more levels, again, this is only the early stages. That level is only there so I can test out my game engine, to see that everything is working as it should. That won't even be a level in the final game - unless I use it as a sort of tutorial level...
