Hey guys! I just wanted to say Happy Halloween to everyone and I hope that you get candy, serve candy, have scary pranks, and enjoy the night!

Wether or not your going trick or treating or the one handing out candy, have fun and stay safe! The County OEMS here actually cancelled Halloween because they feel it is still too dangerous with all the power out and live wires all over the place. Sounds ridiculous when they first say it, but they do have their reasons. When people went out to celebrate anyways they switched their stance to "strongy discourage". Oh well, I'm glad people are still enjoying themselves but i hope they do stay safe.

I had a ton of fun... don't ask.

Instead of traditional trick or treating, I filled a basket with candy and walked around as a mobile trick-or-treating station, the "Candy Ferry" as one lady called me. There are a ton of apartment buildings around the area in which I live, but still a bunch of kids, so I think it was a good idea :P the parents were a little skeptical, though.

Well i will be the stick in the mud here, I hate halloween, the mother of all non holidays and I shall bring the tone of this thread down. It is just an excuse for people to go around terrorising others for free sweets. It is fine when it is some young children it is fun for them dressing up, and parents like little children dressed up coming to their door. But when that child is a 15 and 16 year old thug coming to your door begging for sweets, it intimidates people. And then there is the vandalising and crime because people can get away with being annonomous. There are always those who take advantage of a fun time to cause trouble.

Admitadly there are those who are just having fun, and mean no harm, but there are the few. I hate the day. And if someone trick and treats me, they either get ignored at the door or a bannana, because they ain't having my sweets because they managed to put on a costume.

I'm in it for the fun! My neighborhood each year goes together as a "family." We enjoy the time with our little siblings and exercise from house to house. We also love to go through haunted houses that are set up each year in different neighborhoods!

Haha. Sulli... it's about so much more than just the candy, although recently, that's what it's degraded to. I don't approve of the new format, but I indulge anyways for the heck of it.
