I've just lost my steam account, I don't understand how they got my password..
I already sent Steam an e-mail because I've had the account for almost 6 years now and now I lost it. I had great friends on the account and I also had great ranks on the spawnpoint servers (Doesn't really matter, still.. it sucks haha, goodbye #2 assault).

Do you know how long it will take for Steam to reply?
Rufus and Kjosn (and other friends I had on my list), don't reply to him.. It's not me. :(

I think it varies depending on how many stolen accounts they have to deal with and how quickly you provide all the proof that the account is yours. Make sure to get all the info/receipts/pics they require to them as quickly as possible.

I have heard people get their accounts back in a day or two.

Thanks, I've send them all sorts of proof of purchase and I hope to get it back within days.

I did apply for admin on that Steam ID. If I get accepted, please do not add admin to it yet.

If you have proof of purchase and stuff it shouldn't take too long. I didn't have any so it took like 2 weeks but you should have it back pretty soon.

Next week are holidays so I won't be on this site for 9 days
If I come back and still didn't haven't got a reply I will buy a new account.

I think I'll just re-apply for admin after holidays? Since I just lost my account and it seems like I won't get it back, so I will have to get a new one + holidays are coming, so yeah. :|

U can get your acc back by sending your account cd-key to steam, it happened to me once

I've waited for two weeks now, and I've lost my steam-account.I send my CD-key and all proof of purchase, but I haven't got anything back. I went on holidays for 9 days but now I'm getting a new steam account and gunna start playing the UK ASSAULT server again. This sucks :( By the way, I guess the post count and hackers caught got resetted? Too bad, I had 4 hackers caught :b Hackers, here I come!

I understand what you mean. This is the second time I lose my steam-account. The first time I gave CD-key and every sort of proof of purchase, and nothing happened. I have a feeling it's going to be the same now, I'm going to message Steam again tomorrow because I've been waiting for almost 20 days now, which is much since they always say it will take a few days. :)


The account I use at the moment is from my friend. When I get my own account back, I will use that one of course.
