I know he had his problems, but if you were from my generation, he was THE man, period.
I don't condone some of the things he did, but I do hope he rests in peace.

It's kinda shocking for the whole music world.
When i woke up this morning,I read the news and i was...shocked. I didn't expect that...
It indeed is sad, 'Cause a lot of famous artists of today,Like Ne-Yo,Chris Brown,Mariah Carey,... are influenced by him, so, he really did a big thing for music.
But after records such as "Thriller" and "Bad", noone will ever forget him, i guess.
R.I.P. Michael. :(

King's never die.
look at Elvis's legacy. He's still revered as the king of rock and people still haven't forgotten about him. Michael will be the same way.

It was a real shock.. I've heard very mixed reactions from my school.
Though on the brightside.. he'll now sell more records than ever, his kids (That i feel so very sorry for losing their father) will inherit enough money for them to never have to work, he will never ever be forgotten and will always remain a legend.
My mum even saw him in concert twice, he came to the small lesser known place of Leeds everytime he toured the UK, for him to do that is legendary..
Though my theory is that Elvis, MJ, Tupac and Johnny Cash are all on a private island somewhere.. :)

I was never a big fan but I did like some of his stuff and it's always a shame when someone dies young.
It's sad his life became such a freakshow, be nice if he was remembered for his music rather than the controversial stuff. I'm just waiting for all the conspiricy theories to start.

Well this was very surprising news. I was just stood at work at the coffee break and then they started talking about it. He was about to start a world comeback tour as well wasn't he so that is a huge shame. It is also shocking about how some things get around so quickly such as jokes and other such things.
Something that was really horrible is how proud some paparazzi are that they got photos of his body.
Not that i was a huge fan but RIP MJ

I think that right there is the reason that this is such a shocker to us all.
Some might say, "Oh, 50 is a nice age to go... it's decently old and whatnot." But the thing is, it's not. That's roughly 50% of the average lifespan, assuming we all live to be 100.
Of course, I'm not going to say he didn't have this coming, the things he did to his body, but he will be missed, and his legacy will live on.
R.I.P Mr. Jackson

Hmmm, not that shocked to be fair... was kind of inevitable if you ask me... but I too grew up on MJ. History being the first album I bought on CD. I just think the whole thing is a tragedy.

Well, last I heared they were looking for his "live in " doctor who has disappeared, and they reckon the heart attack (if thats what it was that killed him) could have been brought on by an overdose of the prescription drugs he was taking.
Was he murdered by his own doctor?

They just announced tonight that he was working out lately with Lou Ferrigno to help prepare his 50 year old body for his upcoming Concert series.
Could be that he just pushed the workouts a bit too far.

ok ive said this to most of my friends but i think the media and alot of poeple are overdoing it....radio is playing his music 24/7 so is mtv and vh1:unsure: and the news is bored and have nothing else to report so MJ is top stroy:unsure: ok i get it a great man is died but enough is enough but idk i guess its just that i never really appreciated his music to fully understand how everyone feels...and the other things he "did" to little boys that was never proven but the guys got a theme park in his backyard basically...why the hell would a grown man have that unless:blink: im not saying he did or anything tho maybe he wanted to be a kid again and seeing kids run around and play and have fun made him feel young again ....idk:unsure:

Who would you recognize the most out of the 2? a legendary entertainer or a actress that acted on a show not many people heard of?
I don't want to make this sound 'cold' But, MJ is to be appreciated more then Farrah. Cause he pretty much changed music to what it is today. He even inspired current musicians to get into being musicians. People even think of him as the father of pop music.
Farrah won like 2 Emmies, But MJ won like 8+ Music awards.
I don't want this post to sound like a judgment and 'put down' Farrah to a 'under-the rug' status compared to MJ. I don't like seeing death especially to celebs.
But MJ had a impact on culture and his music brought people from across the world together with his music And that it self deserves high credibility, and respect that does not measure within words.
May you rest in peace. King of Pop: Michael Jackson.

So not many people heard of Charlies Angels? lol. It is sad that the kind of pop is now dead. From all reports it sounds like his "doctor" didn't do anything right to try to save him. 1st they didn't call 911 right away, 2nd he tried to do CPR on the bed not a hard surface as you're supposed to do it on.
All in all it's sad to see him go.
