Understeer... Avast! should really take care of most spyware anyways... it does a great job at it, all I was saying is that some of the really nasty stuff out right now needs more technical fixes than just one program can provide. I highly recommend it if you want maximum protection... if a website so much as even tries to upload a file onto your comp with spy/virii in it avast goes berserk and lets you abort the connection :)

OK DL'd Avast! 4 from download.com just now. DL speed peaked at 918kb/s for a second, but hovered over 700kb/s for most of the DL.

Will install it now and uninstall AVG, as I feel AVG is kinda blah now...

Is AVG that bad/. I heard in this perdicament that AVG would be someone in colledge and Norton, which is what I have as well, would be in pre-school. People have told me in that way and so I am kind of shocked. It does get annoyinbg when it automatically starts the scan without me know, slowing down my CS and making the ping to go 150 at the most. My ping is already at 100 since I play on a lot of east servers so my ping is far.

I also purchased spyware doctor which is a VERY nice program that also helps for keyloggers, it will automatically delete any program that sends in your key input and/or of course, the most obvious ones. I recommend to get it if you do not. It protects your software from just about anything and with updates weekly (quick updates at that) also keep you up to date on the hackers and viruses so that you can get them before they infect your computer further.

I think it is time for me to get a new system since mine is just about to shut down for good. There is so much useless crap that downloads by itself that my computer is useless, probably would get more use out of it if I were to use it as a punching bag.

If anyone has a recommendation of any kind that I am just looking for a computer at a good price, but also has the video card and processor that can keep up with the up-to-date games such as the NVIDIA 8600.
