CS:S Sound Output

Hello SP,

I am having a hard time finding the option to select where my CS:S sound outputs to in the CS:S options. Can anyone point me to the right location to choose the sound output device in CS:S?

The sound currently defaults to my system's default output so the only way to change it's output is to go into my system's control panel and set my headset as the "Default Device." As you may read, that is pretty annoying having to do that every time I would like to play CS:S.

Thanks for the support,

MusicPirate

Are you using a USB headset? One thing that I do to get around this, is to have a Y-splitter plugged into my soundcard. With my headset and my speakers plugged into the splitter. When I only want to hear my headset, I just turn my speakers off.

MusicPirate could you post a screen shot or 2 to show us where you are trying to change these options ?

PS. Shinjo although your option works ok... remember that if you decide to have a good old music blasting session you could hurt your headset speakers by having it to loud whilst they are still plugged in :crying:

True, personally if I have music on, its in my headset anyway. Living in a 'nicer' apartment community I try to keep my music blaring to a minimum, just to keep away the annoyed neighbors. :smile:drum:
