crosshair ?'s

my brightness on my moniter and in-game is turned up all the way, and yet i still find it hard to see where my crosshairs are. what are the console commands to my them brighter? i dont have time to look them up right now. im kinda busy...

cl_crosshair then there will be 4 options to mess with the crosshair

HDR enabled maps (Dust2 mainly) will cause the crosshair to be almost invisable.

Disable HDR, and use the commands mentioned by Dirty-Bird.


And if you dont mind having a slightly oversized crosshair, you can use cl_crosshairscale #### to make the crosshair bigger or smaller.

cl_crosshair 100 will make them span pretty much your whole monitor, cl_crosshairscale 1600 will make them microscopic (depending on your resolution)

I would recomend about 600-800 for visability, though it won't look pretty and you may have to guess at where dead center is while spraying an m249.


You can also change the color of the crosshair. cl_crosshaircolor <R> <B> <G> <A> i believe is the line. cl_crosshaircolor "255 255 255 255" will make it white i think. I don't mess with the command too much so...play with it and see what happens.

im in alabama right now, so i cant check the commands that dirty bird mentioned, but i use cl_crosshairsclale 2500. i like it small, but its not bright enough. i hope the commands dirty bird mentioned help *crosses fingers*.

they do, trust me
you could have cl_crosshairscale 1000000 and you will see it fine if you max out the brightness

I have mine at cl_crosshairscale 99999 [8D]

And well.... I get a lot more HS's than if I used 2500.

I just need to mess with the alpha now. I think mine's on 9999, but I need it to be at 10000 so I can see it. I don't see it sometimes.

Also, is what Mr Me said true about the color? I'd like to change the color of the crosshair from the default colors (red, blue, green) to something else so that I can see it better in some instances.
