I am more excited about Mass Effect 3 coming out than I was about Skyrim. I have a perfect ME2 save for import so I will be ready to romance Ashley who put the "YUM!" in Williams and see the best game outcome. I also have other saves so I can see what the other endings are like with other ME2 and ME1 choices some of the characters made. I have a ME2 save game editor so I can make whatever character and choices I want for import without having to play either ME1 or ME2 again. Choices made in the first games are suppose to have a large impact on who is alive and what happens in ME3. That means extended playability. Pre order gives you some good extras that you can't get anywhere else. Gamestop has the best pre order bonus set. The collectors edition has a couple of nice features but I don't know if it is worth the extra $20 seeing as the first DLC with the extra mission and companion, guns ect will be available for $9.99 same day as release. I am not really interested in the stuff you get with it that doesn't go into the game.

Yep, time to remove that second post.

I finally pre ordered mine from best buy because you get a $20 gift certificate if you are a game club paid member and a $10 gift certificate if you are a "free" game club member like me. $10 is way better than one suit of armor or a different gun like some of the other retail exclusive offers. Countdown to the 6th has been going off in my head like an atomic clock lol.

Well Matt, get ready for the disappointment of a gaming lifetime. The ending choices are all epic fails. The gameplay is awesome and there is absolutely genius level writing up until the last 10 minutes of the game and then there is so many plot holes, lore screw ups and only bad and neutral ending choices with no good ending choices that you are asking yourself if the writers that finished writing the game even read the script. Logic is out the window and you will feel like you just had the most unsatisfying sex ever......

none of your choices in ME3....or 1 and 2 for that matter.....actually matter in the end of ME3. It doesn't matter how well you did micromanaging past save imports and what you did during ME3, you get crappy endings that leave you going "WTF?!! How would that work? That doesn't make sense because of A,B,C,D and all the other lore and plot outright contridictions the endings have."

Do you want my advice? Don't go into the beam at the end to the Citidel....everything up until that point is awesome. everything after that point is the biggest let down of a gaming lifetime. Wait to go into the beam until BioWare releases an ending fix. With all the uproar they might. That way your Mass Effect experience won't be tarnished by what some are calling "one of the worst endings in sci-fi history".
