DoD:S worth it?

I don't Really Care That much about Dod;S

Same for me :|, it doesn't seem to be a particulary good and addictive game.
Still I don't like much too addictive games like WoW. But if I buy a game, it needs to be really amazing. Do any of you thought that HL2 could be bad ? I'm almost sure you don't. It's why I bought it and CSS came with it, most beautiful package ever ^^ .

Although, if you are ever looking for a miserable, far-too-realistic shamefest, DoD is the place to be. I took it from Aussies on some New Zealand server for 2 hours before I gave up and uninstalled the game out of anger.

The people over at the dod community tell me that DoD:S is dying (EU), i think thats competitively tho.

If u liked the old dod on the HL1 engine u wont like DoD:S, yes DoD:S is realistic but its just a really really bad game that valve have spoiled by doin wat they want instead of listening to the dod community, atleast thats the way i see it in europe.

I am a big fan of CSS And DoD. the severs are great and graphics look great too i enjoy playing both but i play DoD more then CSS. If I was you i would go out and get it. I would give it a A++++++

DoD source is an amazing game, the recoil is very intense but then again so is the game play. Nothing like trying to run across the courtyard in avalanche while a bazooka and sniper rounds are flying past your face. Speaking of sniping i really think they nailed that aspect it takes some skill and some fast reflexes to nail it down. Definitly an A+ game i'd say buy it and enjoy the mayhem

IMO, DOD:S is just COD2 without single player.

It's a good game and you should definitely buy it, however in my opinion the Call of Duty series is much better
I think DOD:S has much harder aiming and the ammo count is annoying

Absolutely... DOD:S is a very enjoyable game, comparable to the best of the best (i.e. CSS, WoW, etc.)
