Photoshop help

I wanna learn photo shop currently im using photoshop elements 5.0 most basic but its outdated but all i need for now right?

anyway I'm working on a little piece tell me how i do

I never used anything other than photoshop CS to be honest.

What exactly are you trying to do that you need help with? I mean, it would take forever to explain everything about PS... lol

u could google tutorials, that's what i plan on doing, i just got my hands on CS3 extended

I suggest you get a CS2, since they are all somewhat different. Also CS2 > CS3 in my opinion, since I wasn't able to find my good old stuff in CS3 meanwhile it offered me completely useless extras.

I just search for some good tut sites, you pick a lot of stuff up along the way.
Photoshop Tutorials, Flash Tutorials and More! P2L Tutorial Search is a great site with tutorials on almost any program you'd need.

Hey bud well depending how how crazy you want to go with PS, my advice would be to go and buy a book called Photoshop CS2 Bible. The book is just as it sounds ... The Bible of photoshop CS2 it tells you everything you need to know about using the program. It is a great book and also the one that I learned how to work with photoshop on. Also depending on how nuts you want to go if you have the money, I would invest in a graphics drawing tablet. I have the Wacom Intuos 3 tablet and just adore the thing. Haha I even tried playing CSS with it :P But if its some quick tutorials you are looking for, Ill give you some links to some good sites that I often visit

Yea, DA is a great place to get some stocks, brushes, and other stuff...

I have both CS2 and CS3 but I mainly just use 3 cause I got used to it.

Yea I hear you on that one... it took me a bit to get used to where everything was on CS3 from CS2, that and I had to remap my buttons on my Wacom ... lol bit** bit** wine wine I know haha. Those are some pretty nice signatures Vudoo. How many layers do you usually deal with for them? or do you just prefer to use one layer and just modify and paint everything as you go.. I am a layers person my self, I have found that it has saved my but more the once before Hee Hee

Me = Photoshop Nub

I'm a layers person though, I usually end up with like 50 different layers that I "try" to mix together into one piece.
