Crosshair scale

I was just curious, what size and color crosshair does everyone use?

I changed to 2700 a few months ago, and found that I did much better than having it set to 'small' in options

And, as always, I use classic green

What do you guys use??

It depends on your screen size and quality.

I currently use cl_crosshairscale 4750 and yes its still green but super bright.

I had to change my graphics card brightness settings because my screen was too dark to see anything at a distance in-game. I then found that once I changed it I couldn't see my crosshair[:@]. So if I don't change the settings I can't see anybody, and if I do change the settings I can't see where I'm shooting. I decided to put a dot with a sharpie on a piece of paper and stick it to the screen lol. It doesn't matter what scale I use because I don't use the crosshair anyway. When I did, it was 2500.

And yes, that's why I can get no scope headshots with the scout .

i use larger crosshairs because i have eye prolems as it is, it is easy to see and draws a good recoil boundary, but i also tend to prefer yellow crosshairs as well

i just use the default crosshair with my 24 lcd with 1600/900 screen size in game i should try raven's to see if that improves hs someone asked me to try 10000 for my crosshair and that was rediculous ... Woah too small lol

hi guys, i use 9999 (set in config.cfg) even though having tried different scales... the smallest is 4500 - anything above this does not change the size of my crosshair.
Oh and my crosshair is this colour! lol

Right now I use a red crosshair, scaled to 99999. Very hot. My screen size is 1024x768 run in a window on my laptop's 1280x800 screen.

Coming up shortly will be a Samsung 206BW 20" widescreen monitor and max resolution and such, so I'll probably have to use scale 2500 to even see the crosshairs.

Understeer i use a 19" monitor with everything maxed out and still use 4750 or so.

Play with that size for a couple of days Ghost and you'll wonder how you ever used your old size

well most the people in BoD have theres at standard

but mines set at 2800, its a non standard green and it great for long distance shooting n such, helps make things a it more accurate i think, but alot of people will disagree

Hmmm a bright PINK crosshair anywhere else and someone would think something is going on lol. I like the idea though it would give you the contrast you need.

Trust me, I got more pink items in my car than most girls do. People think my car's a girl's car most of the time lol

I'm using the default as far as I know, though it's pretty invisible most of the time.

For those of you having difficulty seeing the x-hairs you might like to try something. Drop the console and type:
bind mouse1 +attack;adjust_crosshair

I think that's the command anyway - if it does nothing, try google

If you like this you may need to add it to your config file to make it permanent. What it does is, each time you press your left mouse button, it changes the color of your x-hairs. There's 5 in the cycle (the same in the options screen if memory serves) but it makes it much easier to see/keep track of and if you're up against a terrain where the current colour is impossible just do a quick knife stab to change it.
