Bunnyjump allowed on london GG?

i see many using bunny jump alot atm is it allowed or not?
i think it dont should be allowed sence its unfair to others.

how it gona be with nade thing does it gona turn back as it was before or have it like it is?

Danfel as admin is failure he changed map when i was on nade,if i remember he did so 1 time before also that time i think it was lytic on nade (only think).

"Bunny hop" on low gravity servers like GG is called "air strafing" and is already discouraged on GG Turbo (if I'm not mistaken), so the same applies to London GG.
A message is displayed there "excessive air strafing will get you kicked", if needed the same advertisment may be put to London GG.

About the nade level, I'm not sure what change you're talking about, haven't played GG for some time.

As for your "admin complaint", we need some proof like a demo to take a decision. If the game was stuck to nade level for a long time and the admin did a vote to ask players if they wanted to change map, and if the majority voted "yes", the standard procedure was followed, if not you can report admin abuse at abuse@spawnpoint.com.

i asked rufus and he said it was ok sence it was a script so thats why i wonder whats right and wrong.

about admin thing i didnt got a demo sence no admin have done this when some at nade lvl so why start a demo.
Yes there was a vote and it was if it was nice to play on and players voted yes.
So we begin play and when i was nade lvl vote screen comed up and another vote screen come up and suddenly it changed map because of admin fail.

well not much to about it,but just felt it seems bad for an admin to change map cause it went bad for him

for your reference the "air straffing" problem on Turbo GG has been rectified with the air_accelration level being set back to default.

Anyone bunny hopping on GG doesn't actually have any real advantage anyway.......

Thats not entirely true, I was playing earlier on this morning and people were doing the bunnyhops and speeding across the map.

I think that it should be kept that bunnyhopping is aloud unless its a script being used. There's not really much difference from a bunnyhop except you might move a little faster, but while your bunnyhopping its harder to aim and kill somebody. There are Pro's and Con's for it so leave them be?

bump hop is not allowed because it makes that person harder to hit and allows them to move around faster from what i remember reading wherever it is i read it.

Bunnyhopping is allowed on our servers, for whatever reason it is part of the game and takes skill to do manually.

When it comes to scripts there are two types, one binds jump and turn (typically) 35 degrees to one button, which makes bhopping easier, this is allowed as it still takes some skill to do successfully. The other allows a player to hold down a button and successfully bhop every single time, this is not allowed, although unless they are bouncing around the whole map it is difficult to be certain they are using this.

I imagine it would be difficult to tell on a low grav server as the jumps are further apart.

As for the map change issue, changing the map is going to happen on GG as most people just hit 1 then complain about the map they voted for ^^. Any map change should be done early on the next map, with a vote and certainly not when someone is on nade level. If you find this happening again then let us know, preferably with demo or ss.

I tried to do this yesterday by looking on some stupid CS website where people post weird things. He said to go into console and type in "bind mwheeldown +jump" i tried that and it was rather hard to use. Is that what you mean when you say script?

you can perfectly bunnyhop with space as the "jump" command too.
you jsut need to practise.

No mate that doesn't count as an Illegal script I don't think. I think the script is basically when you press a button and it does the full stuff for ya.

All your doing there is binding jump to a new key which is not illegal.

Bunnyhopping, as long as it's not done by script is allowed on london gungame. You can notice the difference pretty easily.

Anyways bunnyhopping doesn't really gain you as much on a low grav server....any time in the air is just extra time to get shot at.

Using the space to jump isn't giving you an unfair advantage over others, using a script does
