Pointing system

I´m just wondering what is system in spawnpoint common crounds D2, because if I don´t play tomorow but I play day aftertomorow. In that time I have lost several points (about 100 points) while I haven´t play. Is it possible to change this system?

I think thats a good system tbh it awards the more active players aswell as the better players, Gives people like mea chance to work our way up the ranks hehehe :P

You lose points if you don't play, indeed if you don't play for a week or so your rank is totally resetted. I've never noticed you could lose points that rapidly, now even if you wouldn't lose points when not playing, the other players that would come and play could get more points than you and be ahead.
A bit more than a year ago, we were ranked by kd ratio, and there were some complaints too. There is no perfect way to be ranked.
Just play to have fun, don't pay too much attention to your rank

i think the loss of points for inactivity is reasonable
what i don't think is completely reasonable is the weight for point losses when a highly ranked player is killed by an unranked/low ranked player

my friend blade (#1 on d2 pub) always complains when he types session and finds that he is losing points with a consistent 2+ kdr, and to be honest, i have to agree with him, it is kind of silly

Why?

It means getting to the top takes herculean effort and staying there takes even more

Also the game is about completing missions and NOT K/D ratios.

You gain lots of points for planting or defusing the bomb and for rescuing hostages.

Tell your "friend" to do his job and he'll have less to complain about

Yeh, you are right, but if all your teammates are idiots, it is very hard to compelte mission. Why server doesn't use hlstatsX stats system even online stats are showed using hlstatsX? Someone told me that hlstatsX is more fairer than that mani's statsing system.
