Default Whats with the Servers???
Some of the spawnpoint servers have been a bit strange this week. I can tell you one thing the dust/office deathmatch has been spiking many times. My pin may be 15 at one time and turn into 145. Another server is evolutiongaming.nl there is more cases of spikes in that server too. One last thing is that some servers have been down for a few days like zombiemod2. It doesn't appear on my server list. I don't have a clue why this could happen but it says the server is not responding. I am just awaring you guys at spawnpoint to keep a look out for things mentioned above. Thank you.

had the same problem at assualt uk, all the latency's were about 145, does anyone know why??

yeah last night most of the deejays were on 65.99.214.10:27016 and the entire server went wonky. It was weird though, some guy messaged one of us and told us he was fixing it. It stopped but we had experienced a huge lag spike for like 5 minutes.

I had the same issues on Dust/Office DM, but it only lasted around 10 secs for me...

LOL I remember this happened in the dust 24/7 server and everyone got kicked out. It was weird but cool since we had to restart and then I played a whole lot better

For some reason when i join ZM3 i get kicked for high ping (250) when my ping is like 110... any ideas?

Ping is different from ms.

You get kicked for having 250 ms, but you see you having 110 ping.

I know im confusing.

You can view your ms by typing "net_graph 3" in console without the parenthesis of course. I've had problems with that before.

Yea on the Assault24/7 UK server there have been a few times where my ping had jumped from 10-15 to 100-145. Hope this problem is fixed soon.

haha because he clearly solved this thread. *sigh* apparently someone already did rep him.
Oh and bulldog, I know the difference between latency and ping. I have netgraph 3 enabled, and also use the ping command to check from time to time.

I had the same problem this morning. i shot an afk person and not 1hot landed point blank. 15 - 20 second later the fell over.

I have the fastest available residential line(form my area) so when i lag it's completely foreign to me. i haven't lagged since duke nukem 3d
