Awp's On 24/7 ASSAULT (174.5)

I think amps used to be allowed on this server and there was a player vote as to enable them or not. I was wondering if this could be done again that way if the majority of poeple want awps they can have them or if they aren't wanted they get turned off.
What do you guys think, and let me know if this was never an option on this server i might be confused.

Get the picture? Wayyy to cheap imo, scouts are perfectly fitting for the map.

on the 108.4 assault server, if people want awps i restrict them to 1 or 2 per team, depending on how many people are in the server. i dont hate awps nearly as much as autos (which shouldnt even be on the game), infact i use them OCCASIONALLY if people make me mad. i am much better with a scout, but if people keep rushing constantly (im usually ct) i will use an awp for a few rounds to get them to stop rushing, and then i switch back to scout.

I don't know how long you've played there swirsk, but they used to be allowed. Basically what happened was that every time there was an admin he would get hounded into starting the vote and the vote was always to restrict them. The only time they weren't restricted was when there weren't any admins to start the vote. They went ahead and full out restricted them because they were usually restricted anyways.

I was on the server back then, did the awp always get voted off, i think it stayed sometimes. Anyways i just wanted to see what you guys thought of the idea.

i used to play on 24/7 ASSAULT (174.5) server b4 i get into the [Da] server and start playying , basicly 24/7 ASSAULT (174.5) was my first server since i have CSS.
umm.... at the time i wasn't in [Da] clan or anything i liked 24/7 ASSAULT (174.5) more because the sever allowed AWP , and [Da] doesn't.

I think assualt server should not have awp ,caz its will be tooooooo easy for the expert pp on sinpers and stuff ; and is a small map [8D]

Awp fests are no fun for sure...if anything...the cts should get at least 1 to offset the disatvantage they have on that map. Awp doesn't mean kill unless you are skilled with it. (and sometimes not even then) I don't know how many times a flash and an ak out the front door takes care of any snipers. I like the voting because everyone is suppose to have fun and that is fair. The gun is in the game though, and it gets old hearing people complain about it. Personally, I am far more dangerous with an M4 than an awp....my awp skills lack lol.

i say, if people are really good with a scout, but use an awp all the time they should be warned not to use them, then after a while they should be slayed and told to use a scout. i have seen people who own with a scout anyways come out of the spawn and start awping. this takes all the fun out of the game, because their usual 10-4 scoure with a scout is now 20-3 or so. if u add this to all of the OTHER people doing the same thing, it gets very annoying and then the vote must be started to take out the awps altogether. personally, i like awps. i just hate it when exceptional snipers use an awp all the time. scouts take more skill than awps, so the better snipers should use them instead.

I hate awp, but I can kill a lot of people with it...I only use it when I have to. For Example: When some noob is awping or autosniping and I can't kill them. Otherwise I hate awp, Scout is way better and if you use it no one will yell at you. Well, except for some noob that hated people that were scouting, but that was once.

I think the best thing to do is leave awps alone. Most people use them.

The only thing you should do is restrict to 1 or 2 people on team.

Well that was the thing.

Back in the day, Doc Holliday, and a couple other good snipers would use nothing but the AWP/Deagle combo, so we were reduced to going back door or the vent, which Joker was watching, and Joker was pretty damn good. Then you got guys like Machine Gun Kelly and some of the DickS guys on the T team.

It basically became so impossible to play in the server that everyone tried to be on the T team.

That's about the time I decided that I need to take it up a notch and learn to scout better, and I guess I am decent at it now.

Yeah, I used to play when they were there, also that clan with all the super hero names, like Aqualung, Joker, Superman, etc. Actually it might have been the KGB clan, not sure...

Anyway, yeah, I used to be Sir i-die-alot.

I didn't have time to play for months, then I came back on and no more Joker, no more of the KGB guys, and AWPs were perm banned from the get go instead of voted out by all the players.
