Change voting for admins only?

Everytime i go in to play the Scoutknivez server 69.90.208.7:27015 and start pawning with scouts, some idiot joins the game and automatically does a /voteknivesonly, and most of the time, it ends up being turned on.... This upsets me very much because most of the time I don't really like knifing... Was just considering a change on how the votes are set up? Like to give the admins the power todo the voting only? Just my 2 centz..

It is really annoying when somebody comes in and keeps on voting to keep knives only (on usually). it think the vote should only be used by admin and players that the admin respect enough. latin has a good point, i play on the scoutz server enough (69.90.208.7:27015) to know how annoying and unfair it can get.

If you do decide to reconsider the /voteknifesonly, I've found a great mod to turn knives on or off with ease. It's at this webpage- http://djeyl.net/amx-plugins.php?cat=8#24715 You can click Knife Arena at #115, and it will automatically scroll you down to the download spot... Hope you reconsider! Well I think it's the one where only admins can do it, not sure. Ill look into it.

Ahhhh.... yes, I've come across this problem too. Although nothing I can do but contridict their vote for knives by starting a vote for guns. Indeed, there have been players who actually abuse this command. Whenever they log on, they use /voteknivesonly .. I mean, yes it is voted upon players, but being constantly used... or in other words.. spammed it gets annoying. They'd use it because "they can't aim" , "there's another hacker on" , or some other excuse. =/

k i'm really pissed off about this command. first someone decides to vote for knife only, then someone doesn't like the idea right away and puts up the vote again but fails to get it back to normal, so he/she tries again..and again..etc. timelimit runs out, and after a whole 30 minutes of knife only, the map changes (well it stays on the same map) and guess what? someone decides to make it knife only once again. and unhappy with the results of the vote, someone votes it a million damn times again. i support the idea of making this an admin only command, or at least allow admins to turn this plugin off.

ehhhh, that's bull fullmetal. i don't believe you for some reason. maybe due to the fact that you actually use /voteknivesonly and after people voted no, you do it agian until they give in, then you want to change it after getting your ar*e beaten. This privledge was given to all players, although exessive abuse was unnessasary. And abuse is what you have done to this command, finally having it posted on forums for a little control. I still stand by my statement in having this admin_only command. =/

I think it should admin controlled, because when im on someone always votes for knives. And its starting 2 piss me off. They even spam it, which gets really annoying. Even though i dont have admin, it would just be better if it was admin controlled only.

it does get annoyin when some people keep spamin it because they dont get the results they want...its like if it didnt work a minute ago what makes you think its gonna work now....anyways i think the voting along with the ability to switch it back from knives to scouts or the other way around should be admin controlled

Maybe if the vote had a time limit.... like once every 15 minutes....

nope. bad idea. i like the admin one better. if we put time limit, it seems like restricting the already very restricted admin powers.
