I heard about CS from friends went to a cafe a few times and played
finaly on my birthday i brought a few friends with me to play CS and i was hooked we where playing 1.6 and it was awesome then i started to play source and i loved it more then 2 years later new pc that could run source
and i was hooked from there

Ah.. It was 24.12...my 2 brothers wanted hl2 to present.. but i didnt want it because i dont like hl2! But then we got it.. i was not happy, but when they installed it and said there is good game on steam. I tested it out. And im still playing it.. have played 3 years i think.. but i have had breaks..

It was 5yrs ago when me and my friend were walking in the mall. we saw this new store called CyberZone so we went in to check it out. well it turns out that this place was a cyber cafe so we bought a couple hours and saw ppl playing this game it was 1.6 so we logged on and loved it. after that i went to bestbuy and bought 1.6 and we i got cable internet i got source and i have been loving it ever since.

and in case anyone was wondering i had the name "uber bear" for 5-6 yrs straight. i got it cuz i started the clan A|A (Animals in Action) so we needed animal names.

There used to be this computer club at my primary school and it had counter strike 1.5 (i think) and i used to always play that then i bought counter strike source and loved it.

If anyone knows the game Quake. I used to play the online version, basically the base of TFC, known as Quakeworld. So I've been playing it for years, and my friend introduced me to Counterstrike. At which point it was still 1.5 So i started playing a little and 1.6 came out, and i've been playing ever since.

I've always been into gaming, but it was always strictly console until I joined the AF. I grew up in an area where high-speed net isn't available in any form. Anyway, I was visiting a friend from church when I was in 8th grade, and saw him playing CS (think it was 1.6). Looked pretty awesome to me, but again, couldn't play it. Fast-forward to 2004, when I got to my first base.

Got a computer so I'd be able to play games online for the first time ever, a buddy from work suggested CS, and I remembered watchin my friend play it, so I picked up CSS. And here I am. =P

Well, I was skeptical, but I tried it out. Now, it's only been a few months, but I love it and I think I'm getting better every day! w00t

Pretty much started playing source on Spawnpoint servers (primarily the aMs dust server and Tactical and Statistical pulling about 10 fps on the laptop i am forced to play with today!)in early 2006... Took a break for a while.. got a new computer june 06.startd a clan GoodGuysGaming.com (fell through)....now im on a poopy laptop that crashes every-so often when i get into intense gun-game battles...

i started playing from watchin my older brother play. im not sure if he still plays..i think he broke his comp..lol

i learned all my tricks from watching him. so hes pretty good. since im ok.

first map i played was assault on ct. at the end of the map change i was like 11-13. not bad for first time on ct :P

some people were talkin about starcraft. i used to play that too. then it got boring. about 7 years ago i played runescape

oh and btw. im not a nerd. lol

found out there was CS. i played 1.3 about twice

56K back in the day was kak, i could only manage to play TFC.

When i got broadband i finally started playing 1.5 and got hooked from then on

My first game was Doom than DukeNukem or something like this. Later my parents gave me a new cool computer at christmas. When I went to a lan party with my friend , I discovered CS.lol I didnt know what is ct,t, awp??wth? and these stuffs hehe but I liked this game so I played more more and more:P 6months ago my friend buyed CS Source becuze he wanted to play but he didnt know that he needs internet and he hadnt got internet so he gaved me the game and I play with CS source:P and i OWN

for me it started when my friend made a $40 present, a pack of cd's that included HL, HL2, HL2:deathmatch, HL:source, HL2 loast coast, and the most imprtant, CS:Source...my favorite

my brother bhought a computer like 10 years ago and played cs i begin to play on my brother computer and i neaver stoped to play since this day.
