i used to be in a clan that had about 3 sponsers and we got paid per scrim and when we had games we got paid for winning. it was pretty fun and it was good motivation.

It seems to be an interesting topic, although i'm not a huge fan of poker for i do not like taking chances like that, i'd have to say i would give the idea a shot.

hehe cute Phoenix, but it is true, i've seen Nibble's old clan and went up against one of their players and i got served more times then Roast Beef with mashed potatoes, and he also told me that it was a great thing to have, those kinds of sponsors cause it allowed their clan to continue playing for so long to gether and have an incredible scrim server.

I'd say the idea of money on the table is great altough I know I have to work on my so called skills to get to that depth of gameplay. I do agree that money is a great motivation tool but skill regardless will be the major hand on the table. That is the table I will spec before playin.

Nah, I play for fun and no keeps. I'll take your pride and let you walk away with shame. But money? That is a pressure in gameplay I dont want. Because if you lose, you dont just go on, you've lost money... And that's not cool to me. I work hard for my money, and need it for college and my car. But I wouldnt put myself in a position to lose it over a game that I'd rather enjoy than feel pressure while playing.
