If Css was played through a 3rd person perspective?

I wouldn't play it... i'm not a fan of 3rd person shooters, although Resident Evil 4 was truly amazing

Never liked 3rd person shooters...I never feel as in-control or involved with the game as I do first person.

Really mr me? O.o I've always felt much more comftable playing third person gives it something strange that i cant describe, first person is very in your face like in css. Compare a third person shooter like warrock to css I personally prefer warrock but depends on the person to be honest.

There are some other commands to make it looks like a third person shooter better like you need to add sv_cam_idealist or something, google is your friend.

I've been playing Soldier of Fortune 2 for some years, always prefered 3rd person.
It's really good, believe me. It's different, but imo.. It's pretty good.
But yes, it might be cheating..

yeah because you'd be able to look around corners without moving around it.
I think it would be interesting but i think that it would make CS:S lose the anticipation i get, not knowing who is around a corner, not knowing how many people are in the next hall, or room. For CS:S i think that the first person view is best.
