FPS problems in CS-S

[Shocker]

Has anyone else had a drop in FPS as of late? I have read all the steam forums and they all come to the conclusion that it is a software issue from value. Anyone have any other ideas? I am getting fps in the open around 30 - 40. This is on assualt maps. Dust around 100.

AMD optron 1.8 overclocked to 2.4
2 gig of mem
evga 7800GT latest driver
evga mobo sli

btw, assault is an fps killer...you will recieve the lowest framerates out of all the css maps when you are on assault

I'm not happy if my fps on Assault dropsbelow 70 - 80 and it averages around 100

I used Black Hawks link and made me a fps config file! Great results gave me an extra 50 FPS on average. So, I edited the config file to give me back a few of those things we love and miss (eg: dead people) and its still giving me a great fps! Using the -GL in launch options also!
