Music?

Does anyone listen to music while they play CSS? All of my friends listen to music while they are playing, but i usually dont play any games with music, not even games that require you to listen. Sometimes i will play on really low, but thats about it :P anyone else?

Yeh,i do listen music while i play,but i use iTunes,which is a good program,but i have some lag's when i listen music,not everytime,but when a new song start i got around 2-3 seconds lag.

i suppose u cant really with everything goin on ingame then also teamspeak it would be very difficult 2 listeren 2 music

Interesting. How about another question: do any of you listen to the music that the game provides you in servers i.e. "!radio"?

no i like hearing what other pepole are saying and if you talk pepole wil hear music in background. music just interfears to much with the game.

it can distract your hearing, thus you dont hear the footsteps of a passer by, that could be the last surviving enemy, and then you get blasted by your team mates, as it was so obvious a terrorist was bouncing down the hall, yet you couldnt hear it.. WHY!?

you reply with.. 'Sorry i was listening to George micheals greatest hits..'

you get banished from the team, no where to play, no respect from your previous team mates, all because they bet on you to beat the last surviving person on 1hp.. but you were to busy mouthing the words to careless whisper!!

well, somtimes i lissen to music, if i play without music and u die u need to wait soooo loooong, so then i can lissen to music xD. just to relax when i play the game and don't stress.

I don't like listening to music while I'm playing. I can't hear enemy footsteps when I listen to music. Also it creates a bit of lag, especially if you're using iTunes

When playing CS i never listen to music. The best players, including myself *flex muscles* use surround sound to pinpoint the whereabouts of enemies. Music is nothing but a distraction :P.

It depends...If I'm playing for practice (AWP MADNESS), late at night, on an empty server, I always listen to music...css playlist on itunes. If I'm in a more serious game (pub server: FRAGFEST EAST) I use my sound for game play...no music . It also depends....when I'm on sp servers and there are people on at the same time, I can't listen to music because I need to be aware of what peeps are saying.

sometimes i listen to music but its music with no words..like action scene music..gets you going
