So I watched the CEVO-P finals between Dallas Venom and Carlina Core. It was from 11 pm to 2 am. It was marred by Lag outs all over the place especially by Dominator on Venom's side and Org on Core's side. Kiwlo G and Devour of the Core both had high pings for the majority of the match.

The final was a best out of 3 affair with the maps being D2, train, and inferno.

On the first map, D2, Dallas jumped out to a 8-4 early lead on CT side, only for Core to go up 8-1. Dallas won the last three rounds to force OT. Core won the first half of OT 3-2 and the second half of OT went 3-2 to the Core also but this time Mustang of Venom timed out leaving Dallas with only 4 men.

Second map was Train. Here, Dominator of Venom timed out and took about 20 minutes to come back. During this time a conversation about baseball was taken up with many people becoming impatient. Dominator came back with news of Tornado's in his area and soon timed out again. The Core looked weak and lost 7-5. Dallas then dominated CT side using three awps lead by sid and the braww. Dallas swept CT side with an 8-0 win.

Heading to the finals map, many more connection issues were occuring with pings skyrocketing for the Core. After a 8-4 win on CT side by Dallas led by the amazing awping of Zid, org began a string of time outs. Tempers began to flare as players were forced to wait for people to join back up and arguments erupted about when to pause and when not to. Core seemed to be favored but Dallas captilized on Org timing out taking the game to a 12-7 match point. Here Kiwlo-G the leading fragger for Core at the point threw in a gg with his and Devour's ping over 150. Even with the towel thrown in, Core went on to win the next to rounds before losing to Venom, who have now won CEVO-P two times in a row.

CEVO-P tournement was fun to watch with many games being extremely close none as close as the Lower Bracket Semi between 94' Knicks and Core which went to Double OT or the finals which went to all 3 maps and even went to OT once. The only scar on this tournement was the timing out and lag issues in the finals which caused frustation and was the turning point in certian rounds. It also extend the match by a good hour or so.
