invert mouse / controller ?

. i have been playing video games for quit a while, though i'm young. and i've never seen anyone invert their mouse / controller? do you? if so or not, why?

I absolutely hate Inverted mouse controls. Ive been playing with the regular so long, its like shaving 4 inches off one leg, very weird.
And re-do your post, it was a bit confusing on the first read through.

I agree, inverted mouse controls are too confusing when you are already used to the normal controls.

I dont invert my mouse controls, I did for a bit when i first started playing CS waaaay back but I instantly hated it.

lol u guys serious? Almost all the pro's that I've ever met play with inverted mouse. I'm not saying all but quite a lot do. The reason behind inverted mouse play is much like flying an airplane. It's something you gotta get used to. As I'm sure you guys might already know, flying an airplane when you pull the lever towards you (if you're looking from a bird's eye view it looks like down) pulls the nose of the plane upwards, and when you push it away from you (from bird's eye view its up) the nose of the plane goes down. It is very natural in this motion if you think about it and your body tends to react quicker with these motions. BUT if you're already used to the normal up is up and down is down motion of the mouse it'd take you quite a long time to get used to it.

I've been playing FPS games for as long as I can remember and I've always used the inverted mouse partly because I used to love playing Flight simulators b4 all these fancy FPS games came out ^_^b

Well, I don't seem like to get the point of inverting your mouse, as normally, when not playing a game or somethin you use your regular mouse controls... It's in my eyes more logical to go up with your mouse with your hand and on your screen... but then again i'm not a "pro"

i've gotten so used to up/up down/down i just about stopped inverting my controller for any game.

I used to use inverted on console games, but I've stopped now, much more sensible without. Inverted mouse would never be sensible, and no pro cs players use it...
