Question about admin commands

Yo guys, new to the forums as well as being an admin. If any of you have a good link for admin commands or if there is one here on the site could someone hit me up with the link? Thanks goes out to all of you who even try to help me. Theres probably a forum for this, dont be mad im just too lazy to search.

I'll assume the server is using Mani

First things first. Open the console and type "bind <key> admin" Don't incluse "" or < >
Example; bindp admin

Close the console, and press P (or whatever key you bound)
This will bring up a HUD menu, which makes things go a lot faster. Explore the menus, and learn the structure. Almost everything can be done from this menu. Everything from teleporting to banning

Alright, Im an admin in the spawnpoints da server. Server ip is 69.90.174.11:27015. Tom was there the other day and added in the admin player skins. Mainly what im looking for is not how to use admin, but commands that you input into console. I noticed that i dont know too much about admin when people were asking me to change cash reserves. Thats a command that i would really like to learn. I am planning on starting my own server, due to admins in the da server reseting ranks every 4 hours for some reason. But i want to get more experienced with admin commands before doing anything. If anyone has a list of console commands or anything please send me it. dragon, I sent you the Admin for Dummies. that will answer most of your questions.
You should have gotten that when you applied for admin, it mentioned a place at Mani Admin Mod. where to go.
That Mani website has a link for DOCUMENTATION. try it.

Yea, I did get the Admin For Dummies file, but my computer will not open it for some reason. I left it open all night trying to download the files but wordpad won't open it and I have no other document program other then notepad.

Off topic, but Tom you installed the admin player skins for the server 69.90.174.11:27015 the other day, but they were not there when i went on yesterday. If you get a chance could you put the skins back on please?

Visit the link that Starlog sent to you if you cannot open the file. It has all the mani commands and more.

To give cash: ma_givecash #T or #CT or #ALL $$$$$ i.e. ma_givecash #CT 16000

I would just be careful on how you are giving money. I would give Ts or CTs as a team or ALL. I rarely give anyone player any cash unless player just joined server and missed the cash and asked for some money. Giving too much also opens can of worms with prevalence of AWPs. I never ever give myself cash unless I am part of the team. This is all based on the game flow especially if Ts are beaten consistently on dust map and are undergunned then I provide cash to the Ts and try to even out the game a bit.

Also, try ma_help on console.

If the teamscores are..say...40-1, you can also give the losing team a health bonus.
ma_givehealth #T25 for example, will cause the whole terrorist team to have 125HP instead of 100. This will basically make it 1 shot harder to kill sombody, and can also cause the awp not to kill in one hit unless it is a hedshot

Be careful with this command, never give too much HP. The sky is the limit basically, as faw as I know you can give a player 99,999,999 HP, which would make it impossible to kill that person. That would be considered admin abuse

In some cases that would be considered admin abuse. If you got an annoying hacker and might not know the command for recording, and you want to put the hacker in his place, then giving yourself all that life would be acceptable....thats what i think at least. That way when the hacker comes after you he might as well shoot the wall jump up and down then kick himself in the face. Guess no clip mode was added for destroying hackers also...

By the way, what is no clip mode added for? If everyone says admin abuse to it then why have it?

Because they can. It's a handy command I guess for players that glitch, or quickly getting to an AFK.

Teleport works just as well though I guess.

If a hacker comes in, ban him. If you dont know how to record a demo, just type status in the console and get his SteamID at least.

Yea, recording hackers is fun and all. But i still think going into no clip and just standing there watching them unleash all out wrath on your head for the 3 minute round period (for the da server). Those that dont know how to record, yet they are admins need to read the admin for dummies file. Im pretty new myself to cs, especially being an admin, and yet i still know more commands then some ppl ive seen that have been admin's either in different servers or for a prolonged period of time. And no clip almost serves no point if your going up against a hacker nowadays.....once you use no clip for even 5 seconds to kill the hacker, the rest of the players in the server will sit and call hacks on you. You can explain its a mani admin plugin module, or make up something else thats reasonable, yet they call hacks and tell the admin to ban you...not realizing you are the admin. So, for those out there who needa learn how to use the record function: go to console type record and give it a easy to remember file name. Simple as that.

Mr_Me_II, i dont know if you still think that im the one who used your name to ban krazy4u. All i am going to say on the subject is, i wasnt the one. I was MIA, according to hybrids message, for 4 days. In fact i was back in illinois due to a recent family death. So, whether or not you believe me, im sorry for whats happened. I'll try to find the person who did it, if in fact it was hybrid, who is a close friend of myn, i will report him to tom once i get enough evidence to be solid proof.

Since most each command requires a different plugin within Mani Mod, the simplest way is to use the "admin" command and bring up the HUD as mentioned. I know all the commands may not be listed or you may not have access to them seeing as there are different levels of admin, the other simple way is to type ma_help in your console. It will list all the commands that you have access to. The HUD may list commands that you do not have access to as well.
