ESEA

ESEA was around for quite a while now, but it mainly focused on cs 1.6; It recently came out for CS:Source and what started of as 3 texas servers, grew into 3texas and 4 NY servers and now they adding in even more private servers.
For those that don't know what ESEA is, it's a gaming network, not a server hosting comoany, they have their own anti cheat punkbuster program (ESEA client) like one in Q3, so it's much better than cal, there are no cheaters. There you get to play with the best players available and therefore is really good practice for those that need it, obviously for a small fee of $6 a month, but that is really nothing when u spend more than that on junk food lol, atleast i do time to time :P

For those that do have ESEA, what's your name on there and do u have a clan there, coz i'm looking to either start a clan on there or join an EAST clan if possible.
Money prizes are awarded for teams that go on good winning streaks, and there you can challenge anyone you want (like in OGL but higher skill level.)

i really only play competitively with my team, im not a fan of pugging so i dont do esea

its really good for anyone who likes to pug though

pug is just one of the ways to go with ESEA really, there is another mod 'scrim' that some of the servers are equiped with where u can bring in your whole team and scrim against other ESEA registered teams and there are money prizes. Scrim mod is only available for CS1.6 at the moment, however it's coming out for CS:Source soon enough as well
