iv gotten to the point i can quick scope so fast it looks almost like a no scope. And i quick switch really fast. You can ask some people on here. I awp alot lol thats my gun all day.

The biggest complaints against people who use the AWP on public servers is camping and footsniping.

Learn the likely places that AWPrs will camp and make sure you stay outta their way.

If you do have to go head to head with an AWP at distance then make sure you don't sit still and never go the strafe left / strafe right mode. The guy will bead on you and you go down. Be erratic and shoot at him. Hitting an AWPr whislt he tries to aim is gonna drop his confidence levels and may well make him run for cover.

Use a fast firing accurate weapon (The famas) and you'll drop the awper fairly easily.

Smoke and Flash nades are also your friend. The guy can't shoot you if he can't see you

Quick switch?!?! What's that???? Lol...and yes, I'm still a noob with the AWP. I do fine with bots, but when it comes to real people, I have a problem. I am too slow - slow reaction time. I also find myself moving too soon during my shot. I know you have to be perfectly still to get an accurate shot off. Still working on it though.

My goal is to learn how to do that "jump" thing...high up in the air and out, scoping while in midair and shooting once I land...to catch the other person by surprise. I think I'm too uncoordianted though.

Pwnzer quick switch is when you switch weapons and go back 2 awp real quick because its faster then shooting/ejecting bullet/re-scoping. you just switch to another weapon and back 2 awp real fast. it works better with scout as it takes FOREVER to re-arm the awp its like in slow motion or something. Let me know when you wanna awp, i'll awp with you.

I think she's joking or was joking. Iv tried teaching her how to quick scope but she's slow lol. And for the comment that pro awpers don't quick scope I consider my self pretty good with an awp and I quick scope and I know some good awpers that do the same. pwnzer hates me and my awp

"pro awpers" i meant the awpers that all noobs concider pro. since nowadays if you cant play a game everyone who is better than you is pro...

Quickswitching makes no difference in Source, it's mostly from 1.6 where if you did it right you don't lose any ammo. I got 60+ shots out of a deagle once quickswitchin when I was bored once

Or in 1.5, where you could fire the awp almost as fast as a deagle if you were good at it. Good times.

In source it makes no difference in timing, though it does give you a lighter weapon to evade the incoming grenades with...even then it's not that helpful. Mostly a habbit brought over from the oldskool playas. I still switch my M4 randonly once every like 5 seconds when im not shootin...

send some flashes, charge, awper is pwnt its not hard but then again an awper should always have a good pistol and/or a he grenade it does come in handy! as a awp whore i suggest it

Put a pro scouter vs a pro Awper and i guarantee you the scouter is going down. It takes way more skill to kill with an awp; concidering if your moving you wont get an accurate shot.. meaning you will have to remain in place while the other guy moves and shoots at you. With the scout you can wig out jump and go apeshit and as long as your crosshair is on the guys chest you will get a hit. Thats for one.

TWO, If you can't kill an awper plz return the game because how hard is it 2 strafe left right duck and jump? Plus it takes like 5 seconds between each shot so if you have someone charging at you wigging out and zigzagging with an m4 or ak spraying your done for.

Plz stop noobing out on forums about awps. Go learn to play and stop QQin.

And like others said. use the nades to your advantage. Because seriously it is becoming a trend to whine about how unfair the awp is. Learn how to use it and stop hating. If your bothered by servers allowing awps dont play on them.

And hopefully that's that.

To kill an awper, strafe with an ak and get a headshot on him...
Doesn't always work but it does alot.
