I'm a big fan of the scout for the aforementioned reasons.

I like playing with scout in pubs because its fun to run around with it being so light. In scrims I'm desginated awper =]

omg... not another Awp<-->Scout thread, how many times are we going to have these. including the bitching from scouters to awpers and the other way around... I personally like AWP for gud play and scout for fun.. but hey that's me!

I personally think that the scout is better than the awp because you run fast with the scout, yiou can hit your target sometimes even when you are moving with your scout, and you can no scope someone with a scout pretty easily. For the awp, all you can hope for is to surrvive long ebough for your 1 bullet to hit your enemy.

AWP=boomstick...scout peter poker....The AWP dominates the scout in matches and even pubs. Its brute power alone is what does it. The awp is the key to matches and so on....

If you aim well and know how to use it, you won't have to run away with either of those sniper rifles. Also, you don't run with a awp you actually switch to knife or pistol. As well as everything, you can learn to no scope with awp, it will be as easy as the scout to after you get experience with it.

And hitting your ennemy won't won't always kill him with 1 bullet. if you hit the arms, legs, ... you'll only do 85 dmg and you'll probably die, you need to shoot at stomach, chest or even head.

As jerry said the awp is really important in scrim, it's a key weapon if you take out 2-3 players with it, you'll have better chances to win the round. Also scoping to look how many people went B to make the right choice will help you.

Those who can, use awp. Those who can't, use scout.

Lmao, that could also been a nice ending, I mean if you see 1 guy that hate the awp, almost 98,876 % of the time, he doesn't do good with it. That's a part of the game, if you don't like that weapon SpawnPoint's offer some no AWP / Autos servers, and not only the assault servers ( except UK :O ).
I understand that people doesn't like when it turns into an awpfest, but most of the time, those weapons are restricted to 1-2 per team, and they cost a lot of money, so to be able to buy it, they will need to '' save '' to be able to purchase it. there are a coupple of things you can do to kill an awper, flash , nade, smoke, knife ( close range :\, no you can't throw it ), and constantly moving as well as looking in the usual spots.

Well since I play on a server where the AWP is restricted, I'm going scout.
