You're comparing two very different genre of game there...

Mario, He's a legend of gaming.
He's done almost everything, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, football (i think), RPG's, platforming, Painting, Education (which is sad btw), Racing, Tennis, Golf, And even the Olympics. I'm sure there is more of what he has done, but i think you get the picture. Most if not all Mario games, are truly groundbreaking.

Pokemon is getting too repetitive, I'm basically paying to play the same ol game only with a different story, Different characters, Different location, and a slightly more pokemon. The gameplay is the only thing that stays the same. Only other game i can think right off top of my that pokemon else has done is Snap,and dungeon. Dungeon is somewhat good, It's at least realtime RPG action, but one thing is constant. It's repetitive just like the main series.

But that's just me though.

To this day Mario 64 was the best game i've ever played, first one too. Pokemon is boring after a day or two. But edge basically said it, you can't compare them.

Lol I don't know, while on one hand Mario will always be a throwback classic that is ALWAYS fun...I was waaaay into pokemon when I was a kid. Of course, now they're just ruining something good by adding unnecessary pokemon to the new games and series...very uncool in my opinion. I miss the good old days, back when there was only 150 of them :tt2:

So...I'd have to say...Pokemon.
